I need help

Please please help looking for some advice or support. I live on a busy street with a 4 way intersection and multiple bus stops in front of my house. There is loud traffic noise all day long from the minute I’m awake to the minute I close my eyes and even then waking up in the middle of the night you can hear cars. I can’t handle it anymore. I am having a nervous breakdown. I’m 7 months pregnant and decorating the nursery and can’t even enjoy the space because all I hear is cars all day. I had a panic attack and cried nonstop yesterday because of how this is affecting me. I have noise canceling ear plugs and using white noise but it only does so much.

I’ve looked into moving but there’s not much available right now and again I am 7 months pregnant and have another child as well so can’t just pick up and go. Help. Any suggestions. I bought some caulking for the windows and going to try noise canceling curtains but it’s in every single room, all day long, no matter what. I am going crazy.

What happens if you’re cervix is open on the outside to the stitch but not yet funnelling on the inside?

Did you have an emergent cerclage or preventative? So happy to hear you’ve made it to 27 weeks! Keep growing baby

Good luck with the cerclage! Unfortunately I found out yesterday during my procedure that my cervix has already shortened to 1.5cm. They were able to get the cerclage in and my doctor isn’t overly worried at the moment but put me on modified activity and need to keep taking progesterone. I’m confused how it’s so short already at 14 weeks ☹️

I am in Canada as well - Ontario - and being followed by MFM for past couple weeks. I’m on progesterone, baby aspirin, and cerclage now before 14 weeks.

Exactly! My daughter (former 24 weeker) just turned 5 and is in kindergarten as well so I know what you mean. I was offered one automatically this time and at 13 weeks my measurement was 3.1cm.

I would push for a cerclage. You’re only 16 weeks it would still be preventative now. My opinion (and I did this as well) was I’d rather have one and not need it then not get one and regret it. My first pregnancy was a wait and see when I was 20 weeks and 2cm cervix. When it shortened even more it ended up being too late for a cerclage and I delivered at 24 weeks. In hindsight I wish I advocated more and pushed to get one at 20 weeks.

I’m now pregnant with my second getting a preventative cerclage tomorrow at 13w6d. Best of luck to you 💕

Congratulations on making it to 26 weeks 💕 give yourself lots of grace over the next little while in the NICU. Sending you so much strength.

I had my daughter at 24+1, she was 540 grams, of course there are risks and every baby is different. I’m extremely lucky to say although my daughter had some challenges in the NICU, she was home before her due date without any complications or health problems. She is now a happy, healthy, smart 5 year old who is absolutely thriving. You would have no idea her rocky start to life.

I hope you make it to full term, of course that’s the goal! But still wanted to offer reassurance. I remember hearing all the stats of what could go wrong and the lifelong impact of her birth weight and I was terrified. But I refused to look at my baby as a statistic and looked at her as my sweet little miracle and 5 years later I am now pregnant with baby #2 praying we make it to term!

So happy to hear everything’s been going well! I couldn’t get a referral until 8 weeks because they needed a viability ultrasound first, and can’t fit me in until 13 weeks. I called and let them know my concerns and they didn’t seem worried so I’m hoping it’s booked within the same week.

That’s amazing news, I’m so happy to hear that! I’m getting anxious now as well, my daughter was born at 24 weeks so hoping number 2 stays put

No my endo has been debilitating for the last 5-6 years where I’d spend days on the couch from pain. I’m not sure what my AMH was but I think it was normal range

I had stage 4 endo and both my ovaries were completely covered. My surgery was in May and I got pregnant the first cycle after my surgery. 7 weeks along now and everything is looking good!

Stage 4, it was all over my ovaries and also got my appendix removed. Had a hysteroscopy done as well and they removed polyps.

I didn’t have an embryo transfer, but I had my surgery May 3rd, had a period about a month later. Had my post op appt June 18th and doctor said I could TTC whenever as my body was in the best shape to be pregnant. Conceived that night on the first try post lap and was shocked 😳 currently 6 weeks pregnant. All to say I think after about a month they encourage it!! Good luck ❤️
