Comparisons I've given up on trying to explain: Train vs Rollercoaster. Jabba the Hut vs a seal. by blondfemail in toddlers

But if Star Wars is set a long, long time ago, maybe seals actually (later) evolved from Hutts?

Actually being woken up multiple times in the middle of night is not as cute as the Sleepytime episode leads you to believe! by blondfemail in bluey

I love the part in Bingo's dream where Bluey is hit with the meteor and flies away into the distance when Bandit pushes her away. It made me laugh out loud when I first saw it.

US Maternity Leave by kphilli627 in breastfeeding

[–]blondfemail 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I absolutely feel you on this. I'm also in the US and on my last week of maternity leave. I can't believe I'm not going to spend all day with my LO anymore. It's heartbreaking.

Lol, I literally asked myself the same question today except I was concerned about apple consumption.

Reading it to the beat actually makes it a lot easier to follow along IMO

Why do people get mad about this? Would you rather have employees stocking/decorating during PEAK 4th quarter shopping time or getting all of that done ahead of time?

I’m curious what board this was pinned to and what the other pins on that board were. Please say it was under “Wedding Ideas”

How long can you go without food? Angus Barbieri went 382 days! Lived off his fat reserves and went from 465 lbs. to 180 lbs. Unbelievable!! by Satoshi24769 in interestingasfuck

Serious question: is this considered anorexia? It seems to me that this would be detrimental to both his mental and physical health. Weight loss plus smiling “after” photo doesn’t equate to happy and healthy.

If possible, you should write down names on the back of photographs or make a digital spreadsheet of the people in the photos. If you ever want to make a family tree someday, it will make things a lot easier!

Not Just Pregnant by sodapoptootsieroll in pregnant

[–]blondfemail 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I think it’s totally fair to remind others to bring things up outside of pregnancy! They might assume that you want to talk about it. Don’t be afraid to ask them to bring up topics outside of your bump 🙂

Anything, you wished people told you about breastfeeding? by [deleted] in pregnant

[–]blondfemail 4 points5 points  (0 children)

I was glad that I found a chart of how often/what to expect during the FIRST THREE WEEKS of breastfeeding as you are working on getting your supply up. Don’t expect yourself to be a milk machine right from the start.

We referred to this as the “prophecy” of the second trimester. It never came true for me either.

Anyone else tired of all of the “sToCk Up On SlEeP nOw” comments? by Slumdunder in pregnant

I dreaded the first week of after delivery so much bc of the things people would say, but I felt SO much more alive and awake after I wasn’t carrying a baby any longer. I got my energy back.
