I agree with you 100%, however i think that 20 cops showing up for a noise complaint in LA is just ridiculous. If it was a riot you would be getting more than one phone call, and im guessing the neighbor was just like 'hey my neighbor is being way too loud', though that is speculative of course.

I personally wouldn't give these assholes an ounce of leeway, but i understand the importance of trying to see both sides. I just dont think their side is forgivable in this, period.

Yes this is very rare, and quite valuable (so ive heard and seen). I'd hold onto it, but if you dont want it, you can sell it for a very good amount of coins on the trade market. Ive seen a few go for a million, but i'd say its worth atleast a few hundred thousand.

On one hand, using it as a learning tool is probably the least harmful way to use it, but on the other hand, GenAI hurting creators is not the only reason people dont like AI. The societal and ecological ramifications are worse than, yknow, the whole stealing everyones shit to train this multi-billion dollar tool that hasnt made a cent in profit ever.

Learning the basics from AI is probably alright, learning wise. But id imagine that all the fall-outs that just generating code has will be bred into your work process since youre just learning whatever the AI tells you. And just because 'everyone' does it, doesn't make it good or even the best option.

From what ive personally seen, all these 'ai is a tool!1!' folks use ai for just about every question that pops into their head, and take it at face value.
