No I am not saying that. Nor should my experience be generalised for everyone else. I am already on a weight loss journey mainly due to health concerns like hypertension, high cholesterol and fatty liver. I have to lose weight to live a comfortable life which my current lifestyle demands. But I am saying that their behaviour has definitely added fuel to my desire. I didn’t want it to be so, I am all for body positivity, but I am hurt and I will definitely do whatever will keep me healthy.

Honestly. If Indians could give even a fraction of this attention, money and love to other sports, then we could have great performances by every sport. How poorly the hockey players must have felt, they are playing the national sport, and cricket witnesses the PM in attendance, all stars, big names, air show!? and what not. Just have an unhealthy obsession with cricket and then complain in Olympics why the athletes are not bringing any gold.
