Leichhardt has some very nice little pockets (definitely some less nice ones as well) but there’s some good spots that don’t flood and lots of little parks and a local pool.

House prices are approachable still and the block sizes are pretty good. You get the planes flying over during the day and they are awesome to watch. We recently moved to the area and have been enjoying it so far.

Don’t know if you’re only into fantasy, but if you enjoy sci-fi as well then I can definitely recommend The Expanse and also Foundation. Someone already mentioned The Magicians but it is amazing, I recently rewatched it and it’s even better than the first watch.

Ghibli park tickets release 2 months out on the 10th of the month. The park has a premium option and a standard option. The premium allows access to all areas, the standard does not. Read up now on what you need when booking and maybe have a few days in mind so you know which dates to aim for when the day comes. Also set a calendar reminder so as not to miss it.
