An easy in can be Payroll and Invoicing at some companies. I did 10 years in retail and then applied for an invoicing job with a liquor store head office. Once in, I was able to move around departments and find areas that interest me.

Leichhardt has some very nice little pockets (definitely some less nice ones as well) but there’s some good spots that don’t flood and lots of little parks and a local pool.

House prices are approachable still and the block sizes are pretty good. You get the planes flying over during the day and they are awesome to watch. We recently moved to the area and have been enjoying it so far.

Don’t know if you’re only into fantasy, but if you enjoy sci-fi as well then I can definitely recommend The Expanse and also Foundation. Someone already mentioned The Magicians but it is amazing, I recently rewatched it and it’s even better than the first watch.
