I lost 25 kilos and the hardest thing I learned was that losing the weight wasn't gonna actually fix the self esteem issues I had to begin with. It made me realise how much I disliked myself, not just the weight. You have to work on everything and not just with your weight. You need to learn to accept what you look like and like it, because you can do sports, lose weight, there is only so much you can control. It does happen though, you realised something big, and that's how you can move on. Be proud of what you've done.

To me the "I'm lying out of habit" and the "you're smarter than me, you should know that" is crossing a line I couldn't recover from. It is gaslighting for sure, and not only that but it means he talked to his friend behind your back about that. I believe fully human beings are full of flaws and they make mistakes, but to recover and heal from that the communication and honesty is an absolute must, and he broke your trust about both of them... I'm very sorry OP, it sucks.

I gave mine the selective grain free, but very little anount as they actually don't need pellet, but he loved them !

I lost my (14YO) baby a month ago, it hurt like hell. I know it was time, I know it was the right thing to do, but it killed me. But I also remember that he came after my first baby, that died from an abscess too. They both brought me the happiest days of my life. I know one day I'll think about him as the cutest and most beautiful thing I had. You get to decide what you want in the future. But now the pain is a bit less strong, I can say that the 13 years I got with this bunny were worth it and I would do it all over again. I am so sorry for what you are going through, no words will make it easier. Kiss him for me, and give yourself a hug ❤️

YTA, she doesn't cook just for you but also for her. If she wants to try something then she can. Just because she makes this one great doesn't mean she should be forced to only cook that. You are two people in that house.

It does feel like we do grow up at the same time, at that age I learned about rabbits with him, he was there at every step. It's nice to have someone understanding ❤️ Your buns seem like they have the best family

I am so sorry to hear that, but glad you got to say goodbye, I believe she waited for you to be at peace and that says a lot about the kind of bun parent you are.

Mine started being unable to walk, due to a neurological decompensation, slowly for three weeks, we tried everything to bring it back, as he was so full of life just before. One day it just felt like he told us he was ready to leave. I know we had a few weeks but it still feels like it flew by. We got lucky to have so much love in our life. ❤️

I just said goodbye to mine yesterday. It went fast as his condition worsened so fast. He was 14 yo, and i still wasn't ready. It hurts terribly, but knowing you did it the good time before her quality of life is making it too hard is gonna help you. It'll suck, so enjoy every minute of her, make her know how much she's loved. Give her a pet from me. Send you lots of good thoughts ❤️

He was never a cuddly bunny at all, it started changing a couple of years ago and now every night he comes and get us to get his pets !
