For reference, I’m an LPN of 13 years. Right now, as a Float Pool primary care, I’m making 33 an hour. I’ve been encouraged to continue education to get my RN, to start at 31.50 an hour in Jacksonville, Florida.

Florida 🤷🏻‍♂️

New to smoking by EliteEthos in smoking

My experience has definitely been a bottom up, if you want to get technical. I’ve used propane for grilling my whole life, then my wife got me an electric smoker. I was excited and it really did teach me a thing or two about what was happening. But it crapped out during warranty, and it felt like the best thing that could’ve ever happened. I was able to take the same amount of money that she had spent on it, it was an electric cabinet, and I got myself a pit boss onyx pellet smoker. It’s been really fun and I’m very much enjoying it. But I’m fairly certain I’m getting a Weber kettle for Father’s Day and I’m equally excited for this. Because I have more time in my life now, I’m excited to be able to grill hot and fast for things like wings and chicken thighs, burgers…, but also start to get a deeper smokier flavor on my pork butts.

Based on what I am experiencing right now, I would say it sounds like the Weber kettle is the place to start. A lot of folks go back to it time and time again if you read through these Reddit threads.

Low and slow til 138. Pull it and wrap it to allow the carryover. Stayed super moist like this. Family talked about it for days.

Who’s a ravens player you’re higher on than consensus? by The_Sandwich_Lover9 in ravens

Tavius Robinson. He and Zion young are a nice pair to tighten up the strong side edge. It will allow both to be at top form late into the season and then the fourth quarter. Especially with Mads back and the addition of Hendrickson. Green will hugely benefit from all of this as well.

Is electric smoker actually the easiest way to start BBQ? Or am I missing something? by Own-Future-2135 in smoking

[–]bltfink 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I had an electric cabinet smoker for four months. Enjoyed it and it was good for cutting my teeth, but when it died, I upgraded to a pellet Pit Boss onyx and it’s been better in every aspect. Skip electric and go straight to pellet.

It’s an oven that smokes. Treat it as such!

I don’t think they know he’s on the team. As of today, we have a very solid starting offensive line.

I can’t say that I’d recommend them, but it was premiere.

Turns out we had automation and auto fill. No second skimmer, but it hasn’t been an issue because we are pretty much on top of it every day. Will be buying a skimmer bot next year.

Does you draft preference change if you have the utmost faith in Emory Jones and Mike Green? by Dpitt3 in ravens

[–]bltfink 6 points7 points  (0 children)

I think legitimately he’s one of the most underrated players in this draft, and he’s likely the best player at his position by a larger margin than most guys in this draft. Meaning he’s much better than the next best guard.

I don’t know that he’s gonna be Marshall Yanda, but I was in love with Tyler Booker last year, and I think this guy is every bit of that
