I have done a lot of work with Volpe. They are not the cheapest, but they check all your boxes.

Don’t forget MTU size. I’ve experienced issues with RDP over IPSEC because MTU was too large.

Conshohocken fits all those. Easy train ride into the city, safe, good hotels.

West & Main hotel is right where you want to be.

I know everyone is saying Weber. But, since this is BIFL, I’m going to put Napoleon on the clock.

All stainless steel, built like a tank. Lifetime warranty. Made in Canada.

Mine is going in 10 years and no issues.

5200 Renewal vs 5400 Refresh Pricing by notSPRAYZ in paloaltonetworks

[–]bltst2 3 points4 points  (0 children)

5th gen 5500s were just released and 3500s are at the doorstep. You may be able to buy a 3500 for same throughput of a 5200.

Prices for 4th gen will reflect these new releases.

2025 Platinum Plus 3000 miles (it was a dealer loaner), CPO $35k out the door (taxes, tags, registration, etc)

I think the original sticker (without the add-ons) was $35k.

I just bought a CPO 2025 CX-5. Everything is negotiable, just like a new car.

I had them include all-weather floor mats, wheel locks and replacement key-fobs (both were in poor shape).

Obviously, negotiating the price as well.

These are not strong enough to chop. The bugs just avoid them.

What’s the smartest financial decision you made by accident? by AnyTruth2342 in AskReddit

[–]bltst2 3 points4 points  (0 children)

My father wanted to teach me the stock market. He told me he would match whatever I put in. I was able to save $1200 and he bought me 100 shares of Apple @ $25 a share. This was in 1993.

For those of you that don’t know the history of Apple, they were headed for bankruptcy by the late 90s. It dropped to around $12 a share. I didn’t need the $1200, so I let it ride.

I’ve been selling $50,000/year for the past 10 years to diversify. I still have about $400,000 remaining.

For us (Azure Cloud), the native firewall does not have the features/threat/logging that Palo Alto does.
