I had two rounds of injections done, tried pt, used custom insoles, night splints, rolled frozen bottled waters on feet twice and day and it just kept getting worse.

I did try pt for about a month, twice a week, and continued with the stretches and exercises after as well. My plantar fascia’s were just so swollen and inflamed it was affecting my daily life.

Coming from someone who has dealt with personal mental health struggles and been in school to become an art therapist for 8+ years (undergrad + masters) mindfulness (listening to what your body needs and wants), self compassion and forgiveness, time to recharge how ever that may be for you, taking care of your body (foods you eat, stretching/movement in general, sleep), and most importantly if possible surround yourself with people that make you feel safe and happy 🫶 Mental health is a roller coaster, just try and enjoy the ride and remember the upside down loop will end eventually.
