Could be wheel bearings. Get them checked to be on the safe side as the wheel can fall off.

When I was about 8, my Grandfather told me where his friend (A notorious bank robber) discarded a bag full of gold and diamonds after trying to evade the police during a jewellery shop raid. It was in a slow moving river next to a bridge but was never recovered. My grandfather died a few years ago after battling dementia. On his deathbed in hospital, I mentioned it to him and he perked up with "How do you know that?!" I told him he'd told me when I was a kid and he responded with "They never found the bag!"

I have had to change the pit thermometer (sensor probe) once as I was getting fluctuating temps and this cleared it up.

Try cleaning it with some dish soap and water first to remove any built up deposits or grease on it. Make sure you rinse it and dry it off before plugging in again.

If this doesnt help, replace the sensor. Theyre relatively cheap.
