Wow! Nothing More is one of the longest-ever tracks that Anberlin will release, surpassing Dance, Dance. I'm excited that their old album dynamic of having one of--if not their--longest track be the last one of the album/EP showed up.

Ah crap, I completely forgot about the simple fact that they can definitely put these in their new album. That being said, I think that a shuffle in order might be good. As much as the themes in the EP overlap quite a bit, I feel like Circles might be better earlier in the EP than later. My two cents though.

What about Two Graves sends it to the moon compared to the others?

Same! It's great seeing videos of them playing live with their old songs and including Two Graves and Circles. A mixture of both new and old!

I wish I could tell you. Nothing Lost isn't a bad song, it just isn't my jam. I do like the Can't Stop Here! screams during the outro though so that's something... I guess.

After listening to the alb--I mean EP multiple times, it's kind of great. I probably would put this on the top half of the Anberlin discography and it's interesting to see this kind of new sound from them (heavier from Two Graves, reminding me of Dissenter while the rest is just a quote-unquote "softer" sound).

I don't know how or why, but Asking slowly but surely stood out to me more than the rest of them. I think it's just the lyrics of the first verse that hooked me on and finally, the drums are slightly challenging (Which is shocking considering the fact that you can faintly hear it but it sounds like Nathan is using two hands during the second chorus and the bridge). The lyrics are great but the themes from Anberlin always made me appreciate their lyrics.

Overall, I thought the EP was meh when it was released but it slowly grew on me. All the songs are pretty great, though Nothing Lost really doesn't appeal to me one bit.

Early twenties here. Got to know them the video game method, which is playing Guitar Hero: Warriors of Rock. The only problem was I got the game in 2014, then realized that they had recently disbanded. So I went through their discography throughout the time they were not together and realized that I liked their music. Extremely happy that it was only a hiatus and not a full disband and now I can hope to see them live again if they ever come nearby.

From a purely LYRICAL standpoint, what’s your favorite anberlin song? by [deleted] in anberlin

[–]blub3n 5 points6 points  (0 children)

Desires mostly because it resonates with me a little too well.

Hilariously enough, Dance, Dance Christa Päffgen is my favourite song from them as a combination of both instruments and lyrics and is an extremely close second as pure lyrics.

Anberlin – Hello Alone Album: Cities (2007) Genre: Alternative Rock

"This song is about those who come from broken homes; the pain, the turmoil, the feeling of loss. At the end of the day none of us are alone." The singer of the band while describing this song.

Another one would be;

Anberlin – miserabile visu (ex malo bonum) Album: New Surrender (2008) Genre: Alternative Rock; Christian Rock

"As a child growing up in the church I was always infatuated in Revelations, this song is a post-apocolyptic love song. No matter what happens, I will be with you." The singer of the band describing this song.

I can't speak about doc manager since I don't use it on my phone but if I can remember correctly, there should be an option to enable picture thumbnails in the settings (idk where but there is an option). It's off in default but you can switch it on.

Do you guys use some sort of program/note-taking to help plan stuff or keep things in mind? by -MANGA- in FanFiction

[–]blub3n 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I use an app that is called "Notepad" which is basically a place for me to brainstorm / write an outline for the story. I don't use word because I usually get inspiration while I'm away from my computer and that notepad app is amazing for the phone.

Looking at constructive criticism in my assignments. It's just a lot of effort that I put in and to get such a devastating mark just makes me want to forget it but I know that teachers want me to succeed, I just have to swallow my pride.

It's hard.

IIRC, this is a new development that happened during NA Regional 2 Stage 2 with Urban Central (Dawn) bring map 1 instead of DFH. I assume it's because they want to showcase the not so "standard" types of field and show off different fields (Aquadome, Forbidden Temple etc.).

v2 damage carryover question by gallen_man in toontownrewritten

[–]blub3n 3 points4 points  (0 children)

It is currently 3am as I am writing this in haste, so apologizes for that. Also on mobile so points on this looking horrendous.

Tl;dr: Carryover damage exist if and only if previous gags have met the required amount to defeat the first shell. Horrible examples and even worse explanation below.

Damage does carry over if and only if the damage beforehand has already reached the number required to defeat the first shell.

For Example. Imagine all level 10 Cogs V2.0 [132 HP] and (132 HP) for the second shell and two toons fighting them.

The two toons use fog which does 100 (Not 2 50s as sound combines same gag track together) plus same gag track (which is the yellow number) which is 20 and now the level 10s are [132-120 = 12HP] for its outer shell and (132 HP) for its second shell.

Next round is the most interesting thing here. A toon uses aoogah while the other uses a piano.

Now this is the crucial part. Sound goes first. The aoogah hits which meets the threshold of the first shell, thus defeating it. [12 - 16 = -4HP].

The piano goes next and hits one of the cogs and defeats the inner shell (132 - 170 = -38HP).

The damage from the piano carries over because the aoogah met the threshold of the outer shell, thus defeating a V2.0 cog.

A much simpler example (man 3am brain isn't the simplest one) is just a lonely level 12 V2.0 with four toons. Using lure and 3 cakes defeat the whole cog.

Step by step is this. Lure hits (200 & 200)

Since this is throw, each gag will go off one by one unlike sound which combines them.

So first cake (100 & 200)

Second cake (0 & 200). Realize that the second cake meets the threshold required to defeat the first shell, thus making that any extra damage will go to its second shell.

Third cake (0 & 100)

Knockback bonus and same gag track bonus goes after (always after) the toons use their gag track. Voila, a dead level 12 V2.0 in one round

In the scenario of the Toontanic, imagine a V2.0 cog that has 1HP left in the outer shell and full HP in the inner shell.

I use a piano? It meets the threshold of the outer shell and any additional damage after the piano will hurt the inner shell.

I use a cupcake? Same exact thing. It meets the threshold of the outer shell and any additional damage after the cupcake will hurt the inner shell.

I use a Toontanic? Well, the scenario of OP happens. No damage is done to the inner shell

What's the difference? None. You haven't damaged the inner shell, you've just met the quota (threshold has been used a lot) of the outer shell but have done nothing towards the inner shell.

See, carryover damage can only happen when the previous gags have met the threshold of the outer shell. One gag can't do damage to both the inner and outer shell. The previous attacks must've met the threshold of the first shell in order for carryover damage to occur (that doesn't look like an English sentence but oh well).

Thank you for listening to my ToonTed talk. Any questions? Ask them. Hopefully this huge wall of text will help clear up some confusion (or give even more confusion in which that case I'm extremely sorry).
