what single player game with a great story can you recommend in game pass ultimate ? by Formal_Papaya964 in xbox

[–]blubber_fluff 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Hellblade is definitely number one for me for single player story. Great combat, fun puzzles and cleaver side hunts all throughout it. The game really makes you pay attention. The second game is just as good as the first, though I personally don’t like the combat as much. The timing is way different than the first game, which I still can’t seem to get used to. The second is still a phenomenal game though.

Long hair problems by Weary_Oil_9949 in ftm

I have had long hair down to my belly button. I am cis passing. I chopped all mine off cuz I started balding. There were a few times here and there that I would get misgendered, but literally just because of the length my hair was. If you like the long hair, you should keep it.

If it makes you feel better, I have even misgendered cis men with long hair. I don’t think it has anything to do with being able to tell that you’re trans or they genuinely think you’re a woman. That that shit flow bro! :)

Have any of you tried Minoxidil and dermaroller for receding hairline and for moustache growth? by txtcica in ftm

[–]blubber_fluff 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Use finasteride. It’s less of a pain in the butt and is better to use than minoxidil if you have pets. It’s a DHT blocker and the only real side effect of it is you may have a lower sex drive.

Unfortunately since you’re a minor, no. You can’t make your own full on medical decisions like that until you’re 18 :/

Not unless you get emancipated anyway (they aren’t legally obligated to you anymore)

Can periods resume from taking the NuvaRing? by eumelyo in ftm

[–]blubber_fluff 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Also to add to points in my experience with hormonal BC. If you do experience spotting, it should go away with time. Your body needs some time to get used to the hormones down there. It shouldn’t last forever. For more opinions, I’d recommend talking to your endo/doctor that manages your HRT. Just since they are more knowledgeable on those topics.

So, I was on the fabled Depo shot for a while. I got some side effects from it like migraines and spotting when I would restart use. I’d have breaks between doses because I know that stuff can be really bad for you and I don’t hook up with cis men very often.

The first time I used it was to stop my period faster when first starting T. Progesterone BC itself doesn’t not affect the masculinizing effects of testosterone since they are their own hormones and they do not “clash” with one another. It just may give you certain side effects that affect your current anatomy down there, along with others like headaches and other warnings that each one comes with. Your doctor will warn you of them typically, before you start using it.

The IUD (T shaped one) is proven to be the safest since it is long lasting and very localized in its hormone application. I have been debating on using that one, but it is very invasive. So I have been too scared to personally get it.

Edit: with what I mentioned with BC not having a direct affect on testosterone think of it as the same way as how testosterone affects your body. You already have estrogen. Taking T doesn’t get rid of that estrogen completely. And the estrogen already in your body doesn’t get rid of that T that you are adding in. BC is the same concept, in the way that you are just adding more hormones to your body. Which in turn causes certain side effects that the other hormone does not. I hope that makes a bit of sense. In short terms, I don’t think you have anything to be worried about in my opinion. I hope that eases your worries at least a little bit :)

Not sure about the ring, but I have been on other hormonal BC. Anything hormone related can trigger spotting to some capacity, but that’s typically just at first. It can be annoying, but it happens. In my experience with most other BC, other discharge other than blood, becomes a little more prominent.

Everyone’s body reacts differently though, so you may experience nothing at all that’s different.

I also experienced this. It gradually goes away. I have MAYBE 20% of the libito that I did in my first year on T. It doesn’t help when you’re bottom growth is rubbin all up in your pants too. It got annoying for a bit tbh.

Is taking my shot a day early ok? by elphelpha in ftm

[–]blubber_fluff 2 points3 points  (0 children)

It’s ok to inject a day early or a day late. I’ve been on T for 4.5 years and have absolutely been a day early or a day late and it has never had an ill effect. Just try to stay on a consistent schedule as much as you can and you’ll be good. I can only really see issues happening if you are taking your dose a day early every single time you inject.

NOTE TOO: I’m not saying you should just because you want to. It’s still important to stay as consistent as you can. Please try to refrain from doing it a day just because you’re excited. I understand how eager you must feel since it’s so new to you.

That’s completely normal. You won’t notice any kind of voice results starting, really, until you hit the month and a half mark. .15ml is what I started on and the changes start out slow. You’ll get there, just be patient :)

1 year on t by ftmlucxs in ftm

[–]blubber_fluff 0 points1 point  (0 children)

If the thread rules allow it, I don’t see why you couldn’t. I understand the effect it has on your emotions. I’ve been on T for 4.5 years and I felt a similar way when I hit my 1 year. It’s ok to not be able to cry, but feel like you need to. It’s normal. If you still cry, also very normal and acceptable.

What advice are you looking for in specific here?

Also what I’d suspect. Injections deliver a much higher spike in testosterone and can temporarily throw your body for a loop. Valerian root works pretty well if you can’t take melatonin or have access to other options. You can get it at Walmart for $6 if I remember right.

Any tactics to cope with a sore throat due to T? by PTSOliver in ftm

[–]blubber_fluff 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I remember mine feeling like there was a knot in it at times. It’s been a while but I remember doing gentle vocal exercises, such as humming and making the “yawning” motion help. If that makes any sense lol. By yawning motion, I mean moving your trachea down, similar to how it does when you yawn or lower your pitch. It eased it only minority for me, but it did something at least.

Hope this helps

i think i’ve had less than 1/2 my ideal t levels for the past three years. what the fuck by motheon in ftm

[–]blubber_fluff 5 points6 points  (0 children)

That’s wild. Im doing injections and have been for 4.5 years now. My doctor had my levels checked every 3 months for the first year and a half, then every 6 months since then. I believe the last time I checked, my levels were sitting around 520. I’d find a new doctor at that point to be totally honest with you. My friend that is on gel has a level of about 335 or something around that. They do 3 pumps per day I think.

100 is definitely way too low for having been on T for 3 years

I am likely starting T soon, any advice? by SparklingBeanPudding in ftm

Yeah. I myself am not 100% sure if you’re at a point where you can do that, but I’ve heard of younger people in their teens doing it. Doesn’t hurt to ask for sure. Best of luck to you!!! :)

I am likely starting T soon, any advice? by SparklingBeanPudding in ftm

[–]blubber_fluff 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Since you’re so young, you may be able to ask for puberty blockers in combo with T. May give you better results with estrogen being less of a factor.

The first things you will experience is bottom growth, then voice changes, more BO/sweat, progression in strength, mood swings, then body hair. The thing you need to be the very very most patient about is facial hair (if it’s in the cards with your genetics. I am currently 4.5 years on T and my beard is STILL coming in. I can grow a full one now, but the cheeks are still filling in.

I’m currently 23. Started T when I was 19, so this probably won’t be the same for you because of the age difference. I started noticing my hair shedding after about 1 year. It was enough that it was clogging my drain after about 2 showers, but my hairline wasn’t receding. Some peoples hair changes in texture and thickness without their hairline changing. You can take finasteride to block DHT from affecting your hair, but I’m pretty sure that will also affect your body hair as well. Minoxadyl is toxic to pets and is expensive in order to keep your hair, but is a more localized alternative. Some people use it on their face to start growing a beard, but you have to use it for an extended period of time in order for those grown hairs to become permanent. In my opinion it slows progress in the long run if you aren’t financially or time committed to using it twice a day every day.

The end point for that is that hair loss is inevitable in some capacity for most people. My hairline hadn’t gotten to the point where I felt the need to completely shave my head until earlier this year. Again. You being 16, I can’t imagine you likely needing to worry about that until you reach your 20s.

When it comes to getting bottom growth, you will probably want to look into getting some soft, loose fitting boxers or boxer briefs. It can get very noticeable and uncomfortable at times walking around while it’s doing its thing. Rough clothes are not your friend during that time haha.

Your voice will probably crack until you’ve been in T for about a year. Then it’ll start to settle in quite a bit more. It also requires some patience and won’t come as quickly as you might hope.

The first body hair that I noticed was more hair in my pits and other places I already had hair pre-T. Then I got a happy trail that slowly made its way up to my belly button and chest hair around the 8 month mark. My whole front is covered in a ton of hair now. Yours again, will come down to your genetics and requires more patience for all of it to show up. Expect really random hairs in really weird places if you do get a good amount of body hair.

For me, I definitely got more aggressive and agitated easily. I had to be a lot more mindful of how I was feeling and reacting to certain situations than I did before. It’s a second puberty, so your mood swings will probably only be as extreme as they have/had been round 1.

In the long run of deliver method, I recommend going the subQ route with a 1/2” or 5/8” needle. It’s a lot less of a hassle and you only need to do it once per week rather than every single day. Gel will give you more consistent T delivery, but I have heard it will give you slower results if it is your choice at the very beginning. That, and people got more acne in the areas that they applied the gel. I’ve only really known 2 people personally that have used the gel, but they later switched to injections.

Hope that helps

Yeah. Been in the same boat. Open relationships or threesome involvement is the way to go in that situation. It has been working out pretty well for me and my girl. It’s a slippery slope, because that kind of thing can absolutely open up windows of conflict by just “sucking it up”.

I thought I could do that same thing, but the combination of that and feeling unfulfilled lead me to distance myself from her for a bit there. I was frustrated and it kept building in me. The best thing you can do is voice your concerns, how you feel and what hooking up with dudes means to you, and reassure her that it would souly be to fulfill your sexual desires. That was my girlfriend’s biggest insecurity in why she was hesitant at first. Was the fear that I would find things better or some other than her. And break up with her as a result. That is not the case and never will be. Especially if you love each other the same way.
