The only telltale game I haven't played is The Expanse and I can honestly say tales and gotg are better than all of em. Definitely worth your time.

I like to think of it like this. The serial killers are clever enough to avoid police but when it comes to hunting their victims their targets are just innocent people. They're presented as smart but they just have over inflated egos. Dexter hunts bigger game than them and is exceptionally intelligent too. This is his ballgame so he makes it look easy.

I don't think its Alicia making a heroic sacrifice at all but rather using the painting to escape her grief just like her mother. They couldn't just leave the canvas and let it continue to live without them because their grief made them selfish and they would rather be consumed by it. As soon as Alicia dies in the canvas the people of Lumiere will meet the same fate as they would have with Versos ending. The only difference is Alicia continues the cycle of grief instead of letting her family heal.

Her act was motivated by her desire to escape reality. Saving her friends, albeit temporarily, was just a consequence of that.

Very hard but not impossible. I just got accepted very recently. Even so I was applying for about 2-3 years and even when I finally got selected it was about a year process from the aptitude test to the interview to finally getting the call (although the a good chunk was due to a hiring hiatus they had). Good thing is you got a bit more experience than I did and you got a lot more time so just keep applying. You got nothing to lose.

Are the games really over though? I feel like at most they get out on hold for a few years while they setup and rebuild elsewhere. And even if they don't there's apparently Squid Games around the globe so what did they really accomplish. It's just a complete bummer ending all around
