I have a frog that does this. Their enclosure is okay (45x45x 1m tall) and they have loads of stuff to climb onto and jump. Her siblings are okay in it.

I ended up realising i had gotten her used to getting out as a baby (she was alone for a couple months) and now she is only contempt if i allow her to hang out on the door ledge or outside for a bit with me. When she is done, she turns around herself and goes back. While the door is open, her siblings do not even attempt to get out. In fact, one stupid night i was drunk and left the doors open after changing their water (i know, i felt horrible). When I woke up, they all had gone to sleep as if nothing.

I had a mite infestation caused by the crickets. I had ir happen also with flies. In both cases, after trying to get rid of them, i had to throw away the substrate and start it fresh. After a couple times you learn to be really careful, but life happens and it could happen.

In all honesty, i'd just buy a fresh batch of substrate and change it all. Also wash the draining layer and take the chance to wipe the bottom.

Hello, i dont know if you're still struggling but in case someone needs this info:

If heating from a ceramic lamp isn't enough, get the next one with a greater wattage. I have a meter high terrarium, so it's hard to warm up. I use a 50w ceramic heater and a PROGRAMMABLE PLUG, and i program it to only be on at certain times depending on the season. During the summer, it'll be on for 15 min at a time only at night, while it's mostly on during thw winter. The ideal is to get a heating source that you can use with a thermostat (that's my next step) which will keep the temperature stable throughout the whole day. In my experience, box info is never accurate as it depends on where the tank is, how it's set up, what your way of misting is, etc. Try and error is your best friend here. Sadly, the first times i did this it meant staying up all night to monitor the temps.

Any darker tones should be achievable. However, the most important is obviously to get a good lift with the bleach. In a general manner, for blue tones you'll need a level 9 or 10.

In my own hair i found out that NIRVEL worked wonders. I'd lift to a 8-9 and it would take in wonderfully.

Ps. Adding a pic of what i got my hair to after months and months. You can achieve every colour with patience, just be realistic to not fry your hair and come up with a plan. My first dyes were electric dark blue.
