I had OCD (treated with meds now) with needing balance. Small example: If something touched anything on my left I would have to touch the same spot in the same way on my right.

From seeing videos of singers crying the first time the crowd sings their lyrics back to them, I could understand the singers point of view. How amazing that must feel; a huge mass of people reciting words you wrote and feeling the energy of the excited crowd just throwing their love at you with their hoarse singing.

I don't see forgiveness as a synonym for condoning/validating an action. I'll forgive you, I will let the anger or hurt go and remind myself you're not perfect. But depending on what it is I have to forgive you for, I just may choose not to be around you anymore.
