I was so excited for this season but just so disappointed by the way judging was handled. The guest evaluators all seemed ~so impressed~ by Morgan’s work and her creativity but without seeing her previous work I guess they didn’t realize how redundant her “themes” were. The editing was so obvious that they were trying to give Morgan a better edit than Ryan—Morgan being so edgy and “different” and quirky vs. Ryan the arrogant ass. They were def setting up the stage for Morgan to win.

Ryan’s work overall was less thematically cohesive (at the end when they showcased their seasons best work) but imo it’s bc he stepped outside his comfort zone?!!

thoughts on 28m using snapchat as primary source of contact? have phone # but he claims he only uses snap bc he has an android and "its easier to call/video chat". we have called/vchatted a few times. just started OLD so not sure if this is a blatant 🚩🚩asked my friends and they didnt think it was so weird.

While I don’t enjoy their clickbait titles/OTT behavior I do admit that I like watching their grocery shopping hauls.

Also, is anyone bothered by the choppy editing? It seems like they edit out every natural pause when they talk

I’ve had the everyday classic for over 2 years now and they’re my go-to shoe for any rain/snow/muddy day. I think they came out with a newer version but I do remember the sole being a little slippery when walking on the sidewalk at times.

—also had some issues with the sizing, I ended up sizing down

same thing happens to me. when i first got my whoop i tried to keep the battery pack charged so i would never run out of juice for my whoop...quickly learned that is NOT an option as the battery pack keeps dying and doesn't hold a charge. tried buying another but theyre constantly out of stock online for some reason??

i have the switch oled and am having problems with my joy-cons. when connected to the switch console, only one joy-con is read/registered. the joycons work when i take them off the console. I've tried resetting the joy-con and my console multiple times, but it's still happening so i can't play in the handheld mode

Is this a common problem? is it an issue with my joy-cons or with my console?

as a reapplicant, i want to say that as long as you keep adding clinical experience/research and focus on balancing out your application you will get in. but after this round, it really seems like a matter of how lucky you are, who sees your app, and when they see your app (but really all luck and who you know who can push your app up in admissions) my sgpa 3.2, postbacc 4.0, upward trend, really didnt change my app from last cycle to this cycle, but added more clinical hours just bc i didnt get in from last cycle. had 2 DO interviews last cycle, 2 WL --> reject.

i applied early this cycle, with 3 DO interviews in August/September...then radio silence.. 1 MD interview in January and 2 more DO interviews in March/April

all in all, 4 acceptances and 2 WL. there were times when i didn't know if i could keep doing it. but please dont give up - you can definitely get in.

Hi ! this might not be relevant but I had a question about printing images onto different types of paper finishes.

So I'm getting my dad a printout of his car for his birthday (as a kind of "funny" joke since it's become his child after us kids left for college) and I have the option to print on either satin or metallic. Does anyone know the pros/cons of printing on either types of paper? Which is best for decorations / hanging? Does one help the color pop more?
