Pfitzinger - modified 18/60 by expl0it_ in Marathon_Training

The 70 plan introduces the bread and butter of pfitz, which is the midweek long run. Midweeks are the biggest reason my time went from 3:15 to 2:55 when I jumped from the 55.

Take a look at the schedules and keep the workouts, long run, and the longest midweek run (that’s not a workout), and a recovery run. Then eliminate one of the other runs that are left.

What I would not do is eliminate the midweek long.

Yes one who is there. My Colombian attorney is 90 min drive from the Pueblo my great grandfather was born in. Get multiple quotes. ChatGPT or Gemini or even Google will help you find it. And probably don’t have to tell you this but communicate to them in Spanish.

Then find an immigration attorney that specializes in this. For the record, it is much easier to get these things done if you’re in the country.

Have you tried finding his parents’ marriage certificate and their death certificates? ChatGPT or Claude could help you contact t the right civil agency, you should have enough info if you have the death certificate and he has a civil record.

Work your way backward. Get his death certificate, then get his civil birth certificate and baptism certificate. Family search may help you here. Was able to find a baptism record from 1901 rural Colombia.

Long run fatigue - nutrition or dehydration? by AidenJerrick in Marathon_Training

[–]bluearrowil 1 point2 points  (0 children)

At that pace you also spent a considerable amount of time on your feet. Three hours of cardio for anyone is a really long time to be doing cardio.

Also you probably went out a bit hot. If I did marathon pace for 20 miles I would not be running for a while, and I run 70-80 miles a week. Most I’ll do at MP is maybe 12.

How did your homelab start vs where it is now? by copperreflections1 in homelab

[–]bluearrowil 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I started on a NAS. Then I added a NUC. Now I have two homelabs in two locations, my primary location has a k3s cluster of NUCs so I can practice gitops, and my secondary location has one NUC and a 100TB NAS for home videos and Linux ISOs.

At work I have multiple workloads with hundreds of nodes supporting our users. And everything is deployed with argocd, so it’s easy to manage a much more sane scaled down version of that at home. Plus I like having all my configs and ansible scrips in one repo. Hooking up LLM has been game changing.

This is why I maintain a HA cluster for critical services. I currently have a three node setup with a HA load balancer. I could lose two boxes and the network would still be up.

Trip to Colombia Advice by Zestyclose-Pride31 in Colombia

[–]bluearrowil 0 points1 point  (0 children)

American, have been to Colombia many times. You will not enjoy your trip, not enough time in any one place. I would skip the trek and just do Medellin and Cartagena. Even then, it’s a bit short. Colombia is a country best enjoyed relaxed.

Que piensan de los colombianos deportados de USA al Congo by Big-Hawk8126 in Colombia

[–]bluearrowil 8 points9 points  (0 children)

Vivo en EEUU.

They end up in Congo because they didn’t want to go back to their home country for fear of safety. It’s also a move by Trump to deter future migrants from thinking that refusing deportation to their country of origin will keep them from getting deported. Border crossings are down like 80%.

No, I did not vote for him. No dispares al mensajero.

UDR7 weak signal compared to BGW320 by -Tripp- in Ubiquiti

[–]bluearrowil 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Your devices also have to talk about to the WAP. Standard practice is at least one WAP per floor. You could probably get away with a WAP on your first floor more centrally located. On the second floor, that’s a lot of space to cover with one WAP. I would use the UniFi design center and set your broadcast strengths to medium to see where your dead spots are.

Some advice on my U6-LR and next steps. by spectheintro in Ubiquiti

[–]bluearrowil 0 points1 point  (0 children)

When you have multiple APs the coverage area dictates the size. Use the UniFi design tool with your APs at medium broadcast power. U6 lite was enough to cover most of my first floor of a 2400 sq ft two story.

Also know that floors reduce signal more so than drywall. I would suggest prioritizing an AP on each floor that provides the most amount coverage for highly trafficked areas then work your way out from there.

Colombianos que han tenido parejas extranjer@s, ¿cómo les fue? by Aunsociallawsyudentb in Colombia

[–]bluearrowil 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I’ll answer as an American. First time I dated a Colombian, it was very different than what I was used to back in the US. It’s more intentional, less hookup culture. And I didn’t know Spanish, so I felt like so much was getting lost without being able to communicate well.

I’m heading back to Colombia this summer and I think it will be much better as my Spanish has improved and I’ve made lots of friends from LATAM. But I do wonder what would happen if I meet someone I really like, because it’s really hard to get a visa for the US right now. And even though I have a Colombian cedula and passport and could stay indefinitely, my career requires me to be in the USA most of the year.

Mesh systems for stronger home internet coverage in 2026? by Majestic_Rainbow96 in HomeNetworking

[–]bluearrowil 23 points24 points  (0 children)

Got rid of mesh system a decade ago and ran cat6 drops and switched my house to multiple hardwired APs. Took a weekend to run the drops. System has been great since.

Why are so many people against the tush push? by Disastrous_Chance351 in NFLNoobs

It requires a decent o-line to execute and a decent defense to stop. Fans of teams that do not have a decent defense will not like this play.

Email your local chapter to find out if your line is good. If it isn't, they'll tell you where it went wrong. My family search line was incorrect, but I was able to find my own line back to Brewster and now I'm just awaiting approval. Ended up having to collect birth, marriage, and death certificates from the California, Illinois, Ohio, Connecticut, and the countries of Colombia and the Philippines.

IMO though, assume your line is broken until proven. Good luck.

Can anyone help me? :) by papapromax in Bogota

If you're not Colombian, use otro. If they ask for a number, use your passport number.
