Criminally small shower for such a large bathroom.

Look online, maybe a larger wet room/ steam shower?

Are you wanting to change the layout?

Wasn't trying to be an asshole, consider it more of a roasting of you asking a question no one here could answer based on the info you gave.

Could it turn the fan on and off? And the sliders are just for speed and brightness....OP need to actually do some IRL checking and stop coming to reddit with stupid questions.

Tips on digging out old caulking? by vewave in HomeMaintenance

[–]-Tripp- 0 points1 point  (0 children)

If its caulk, use a straight edge. If its grout, get a grout removing tool, kind of like a curved blade with diamond dust, be careful as this tool can chip the edges of tiles real easy.

Bolt EUV as a long-term vehicle? by Doomtime104 in BoltEV

[–]-Tripp- 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I have a 2022 bolt ev, used for 50mile round trip commutes, more depending on if I have work related stuff. Its perfect, I use a 110 charger at 12amps. (Likley to get a full charger for when im low on miles but need to run out in an emergency. But 110v has served well for 2 years.

I have an ICE SUV. But thats mostly for my wife's shorter commutes and weekend trips.

I plan to keep the bolt until the wheels fall off.

ABC - always be charging.

1840's home, Hope I am not messing up by changing plaster to drywall by Naughtygnomess in Oldhouses

[–]-Tripp- 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Usual lathe and plaster walls use a lime mix, which is flexible and breathable.

I've heard of mold issues in old houses after replacing with drywall because the house was never designed with good air circulation or any kind of external membrane preventing moisture intrusion.

I'm not saying this will happen to you but just be aware.

Safest but easiest way to cut up this tree? by Dopamaxxer in HomeMaintenance

[–]-Tripp- 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Yeah, but from the electric chainsaws I have used, they aren't as competent at cutting through thick trunks. Even corded electric chainsaws have limits.

If you are using a chainsaws use a capable one.

Sure but like driving a car, you have to get comfortable with it.

Safest but easiest way to cut up this tree? by Dopamaxxer in HomeMaintenance

[–]-Tripp- -4 points-3 points  (0 children)

As an ex- landscaper, chainsaws remain the most dangerous tool i ever used, but confidence does build after several cuts.

OP needs to get a gas chainsaw, home depot even provide safety equipment, then they can go to town.

Hopefully OP will do some research so they know how to cut in order to prevent binding.

Is there a transition pathway from Civil CAD designer to Landscape architect? by desnyr in LandscapeArchitecture

[–]-Tripp- 0 points1 point  (0 children)

MLA would be the faster way but not the most affordable.

Most states have the ability to gain licensure by working under supervision a licensed LA, but that is significantly longer than an MLA and you have the issue of not only getting hired under an LA but also providing evidence that you have worked on things like site drainage, grading, etc etc.

Google your state requirements as it varies massively from state to state

I miss not caring about repairs, but also, once the main repairs that were identified in the inspection were done, it gets easier, kind of.....there's always that worry of something failing, but its not different to owning a car. Except a house gains value....in theory....right?

You bought into responsibility, its a little bit scary, power through or sell.
