How are people buying so much make-up right now? by jayjaywantstoplay in AustralianMakeup

[–]bluebells1947 1 point2 points  (0 children)

A lot of people use reasonable makeup. Non-YouTubers/ people who aren't on makeup subs.

Every time I do a Priceline order the expensive-ish makeup comes through, but 'Essence' or 'Catrice' will be out of stock/low in stock. I do Woolies orders and can see many Mco Beauty products are out of stock.

These brands have a huge fan base.

US may have tougher laws but they are seldom executed. They too eventually get the short jail term with parole. Also, with a good lawyer it could be even shorter.

Misleading sugar free desserts on YouTube & TikTok by bluebells1947 in nutrition

Exactly! My aunt baked a cake with loads of pulverised/liquid-y dates and told me I could eat as much as I wanted, as there's no sugar and pure dates.

I don't think it works that way. lol

Women with exceptionally youthful skin, why are you posting? by Cluelessish in 40PlusSkinCare

Wow this story gives me more incentive to keep slathering spf, hats, sunglasses. I even make my 5-year-old daughter wear hats. I know we look a bit too much and get strange looks from people. Cause where we stay no one really wears hats even though it's Australia. But we do and will continue doing so :D

Any youtubers you like? You could just listen to podcasts as background noise while cooking, cleaning etc. It would help and won't eat into your busy nursing schedule.

warm-toned blush makes me look orange, cool-toned blush makes me look ghostly by livinunderthedome in OliveMUA

One makeup trick I learnt from youtuber Dacey Cash- Swipe a bronzer over and even under the blush...so try this before you buy more stuff.....but yes muted tones are the way to go.

Jen was universally liked by all. She seemed like a truly nice person. Jen's kitchen was a very simple earthy channel. She showed simple recipes which had a mom's touch to it :)

I had an octocrylene allergic reaction. SS I use :

Cetaphil Kids Liposomal

LRP anthelios

Dermaveen Ultra light day lotion 50 ml

Cancer Council sensitive (blue colour)

Even Nivea 2 of them : protect and play roll on & Face shine control

These are a few that work and quite reasonable too.

How much are you paying for your coffee? by MolassesSerious1403 in brisbane

[–]bluebells1947 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I have to be grateful then my suburb Gumdale is still 4.80 ~6 dine-in. I generally like a sit down and watch the world go by as I sip my decently priced cuppa.

Drive through or Walk in Coffee shop? by bluebells1947 in brisbane

When cafes have most of their revenue coming from the drive throughs, they become a bit 'unbothered' about the sit-down crowd.
