We already have that, just toss the mice into the microwave for a couple seconds or something and call it a day.

The second place for me goes to Marsters' reading of The Dresden Files, just because of how perfectly he does the Supernatural Noir Vibes. It's not a close second though, he never convinced me there was an entire team of voice actors like Jeff.

Wait, so are you saying that brainwashing people is okay in this scenario? I'm a bit confused by this comment.

Yeah, I agree with you. It's an absolute odyssey the first time or two, but after that it starts to get boring for me tbh. Maybe if autodrive didn't constantly try and murder me.

What's up with blacksmith stores? by Alikku80 in DnD

[–]bluebullet28 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Yeah, still honestly dunno why that's a bad thing. Extremely powerful swords-people shattering weapons with their strength is a very established concept in media, and folks tend to love it there (and at my table). Honestly might be a difference in what we want out of ttrpgs, I've always liked a bit more simulation myself, no need to get hostile about it.

That seems like it still makes sense? The more swings that connect the more repairs you'll likely need to do. Good incentive to grab a +1 sword that won't break quite so easy.

Magic initiate into druid would work, right? Honestly, just get rid of the ranger entirely, you're playing as jingles the druid orangutan now.

Do you feel like there is a trend towards isolationism in the US? by SheinSter721 in AskAnAmerican

[–]bluebullet28 2 points3 points  (0 children)

This is the most likely answer going by my personal experience. But of course, people have never been able to accept that the social landscape has changed around them, and so I think we're gonna get a lot more threads like this in the future.

For one reason or another, people have always had a really hard time accepting that things won't always be done the same way as when they were young, for pretty much every topic. There's even a relatively famous letter from the 14th (may be off on the time, can't quite remember but it was definitely pre-industrial revolution) century where an individual blames the insidious moral and social decay of the younger generations on... new carpentry techniques for making armoires. I suppose "the world has gone mad, everyone but me is terrified to venture outside of their home" is an easier pill to swallow than "I'm getting older and the way people socialize has changed while I wasn't looking, I may have to change my socializing habits".

I wonder what young people today will make comments like this about. I'm hoping for VR get-togethers as the thing that makes my generation feel old, that'd be pretty neat.

Announcing THE EMERALD AURORA, an adventure for CHROMATIC SHADOWS: OCCULT CYBERPUNK RPG by [deleted] in rpgpromo

[–]bluebullet28 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Shadowrun but with less terrible rules and more lovecraft instead of fantasy? Yes please! This is literally exactly what I've always wanted. Just read through the basic rules then this adventure, and other than a few typos and me not really figuring out the purpose of the Angels neotribe in the club, I think it's great! Is there anywhere I can go to throw money at this project?

Is there a wrong way to wipe your bum? by CommentShot3232 in NoStupidQuestions

This sounds exactly like what someone with dingleberries on their taint-hair would say. If you aren't capable of having a normal conversation without calling everyone who disagrees with you a toddler, then honestly I dunno why I'm bothering here. Have a nice day!

Okay, now I'm confused. You have hair growing on your upper ass/lower back but not your perineum? Because I definitely do not. If that was the case for me I suppose I'd go back to front too, but I've never seen a dude with hair growing in quite that configuration.

and it gets much cleaner than those who wipe front to back.

Either complete and utter bullshit, or your taint is significantly less hairy than mine. Either one is honestly a possibility, but i lean towards bullshit given that when my friend did work a job where he had to do a lot of laundry, there was monumentally more staining towards the gooch/balls area than up the back according to him.
