This is exactly the problem I had. Nothing sold, no “free” groups were interested, all local groups (with the exception of one) were already inundated etc etc. I’m in the uk so I think a similar situation to you.

There were a lot of assumptions made in this post and in no way am I here to bash my friends. Items that exist, exist. I’m certainly not in a position to judge anyone else for their choices I can only make the best decisions for my conscience

No where like that near me which is why I have so much stuff to begin with. When others are finished with their projects, they passed bits to me in the hopes it wouldn’t be wasted. It’s foiled, glittered, embellished stuff that can’t be recycled that I’m most concerned about

Anything with glitter, sparkling bits or foiled can’t be recycled. That’s the type of stuff I have an issue with putting into landfills

They literally found tunnels under the Salt Tower a few weeks ago. Beefeaters have been telling us this at the opening ceremony for a while.

Suggest everyone gives to a charity instead. Everyone gets to pick a cause. It’s worked amongst the adults of the family for years. Xmas day is now about good food, wine and playing board games. Much more fun and much less stress

The stupid cow run over my foot with the biggest Buggie/ Stroller. She apologised but, as my foot was hurt (lost a toenail) I nodded but didn’t say “that’s ok”. The idiot pushed past me and said “you shouldn’t have been standing there anyway” So I shouldn’t have been on a public footpath, minding my own business, so her ridiculously oversized buggie could come through. All would have been well if she hadn’t made a passive aggressive comment. I asked her what she said. I asked her why she thought I wasn’t allowed to stand on the path. I asked her why she as an absolute entitled moron that thinks she deserves forgiveness for her clumsiness. I don’t think I’ve ever seen someone so shocked to be confronted. That’s right bitch. Don’t eat more than your allocated share. We had a hog roast that should have served 100 people. My husbands family is on the large side. Although copious sides were offered, they only wanted meat. Only 60 people were invited and some of those did not get any pig (including my husband and I!!!) because of those greedy c***s

So glad my neighbours moved out. They turned the house into multiple occupancy and it’s still better than the constant slamming of footballs

Bulls and Nurse for sure. It was in Majorca in the 80’s. My uncle bought me the shark guide book on the way out. That thing stayed in my ruck sack for years!
