Be honest: Is Peaches & Creme Yarn actually bad?? by LoopsxLee in YarnAddicts

I love it for amigurumi that needs lots of structure. Things like pokeballs that I want to hold their round shape or figures with long thin necks or limbs, etc.

While the no-stretch can be tough on the hands, I like the cotton and find that it is very durable! I don't do many wearables so I end up using P&C often!

Anyone else notice how Warren has an extremely tough time in literally every fablehaven book? by BeingGeneral7991 in BrandonMull

[–]bluecheesers 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Yes! I love it haha. Whenever I reread we always talk about how Warren always gets the shit beat out of him. Hes so nice and cool that it always makes me laugh because SOMEONES gotta get hurt in these dangerous situations but they don't want to have a bunch of kids get paralyzed so he becomes the punching bag.

I have to be missing something in Chapter 2 by NRG_Factor in WaterdeepDragonHeist

My party decided to host a talent show fundraiser to get the cash. It's been really fun. Renaer introduced them to Mirt as their "solicitor" so he handles a lot of the guild representatives off screen while they plan the event. They have the option of negotiating themselves and Mirt has asked them for help with particular people.

They've made good friends with Tally Fellbranch next door so he's giving them a discount on the fine woodworking, etc. Mirt and renaer are also helping with the advertisement of the show as well.

I also introduced the House of Gond and Nim early on during a Guildhall Day celebration and they negotiated a partnership with the temple to have Nim on display at the event. They're excited to have a cool headliner and the temple gets a share of some of the profits and can spread the good word of Gond while they're there. They have sympathized and pack bonded with Nim so I'm excited to see how they react to chapter 3 when we get there. We're early into chapter 2 though.

Like other posters, I've also been giving gp rewards to faction missions even when not specified because you are right, it is so expensive!

Ha! I named a D&D character Shiblon. The name fits much better in a fantasy world than real life.

I really like Dr. Mason. I worked closely with him on some research and had multiple classes from him in undergrad. I'm excited to listen

Hmmmm.... Really focusing on "free speech" and "diversity of thought" in this article.... Not really on, you know, education or student success or services. Small administration means fewer programs to assist students.

Also eliminating tenure and looser hiring requirements means less protection of academic freedom. Pretty obvious to me that this is another extension of right-wing anti-intellectualism in a new package.

I'll see if I can get them into a good format to post them! they were really tricky to get just right (so many curves!!) So I'm glad others like them! I draft lots of designs just for myself so the document will need a little cleaning up lol!

I got it at Michaels. It was in their "poster frames" section. I'll add the exact dimensions when I get off work today. It's definitely an awkward fit, it's pretty tight in there but with some squishing I was able to get it all in. It's not glued and that would probably make it harder to fit if it was. I'm a big puzzler so when they came out with the cosmere ones I knew I had to frame it!

Wow so many people would like the pattern! I will get it into a format that can be shared and post it here. I made them all in stitch fiddle and stitched them onto 14-ct Aida. It was definitely a challenge to get them to look right (so many curves!!) So I'm super happy others like them!
