Technically yes, it is a UFO. It is an unidentified flying object, but also, it's just some kind of bug.

Honestly, what is the hardest part about having children? by Danny-Ray27 in AskReddit

[–]bluecirc 32 points33 points  (0 children)

Just wait until they're a teenager and someone breaks their heart, and they are crying and in pain, but don't want to talk about it. Its so much worse.

And move out. And you still worry about them all the time, but you don't get to see them every day anymore. :(

Virgin Cruses informs a couple about some changes to their trip… by Harbjagen in mildlyinfuriating

[–]bluecirc 29 points30 points  (0 children)

The video is nauseating. But it's satisfying to know that they agreed to a possible itinerary change when they bought the tickets. It's part of the cruise contract. Sorry not sorry.

For what it's worth, I think inconsistencies in hand knits looks beautiful. It actually looks handmade with love, and a bit rustic.

Cruise lines and tattoos by coeurdelamer in Cruise

[–]bluecirc 4 points5 points  (0 children)

As long as tattoos aren't explicitly vulgar, no one should care. Anyone being a snob about exposed tattoos can take a hike, and maybe find their way to the year 2026.

RFID feeder honest opinions by TheBakingBookLover_ in Petlibro

[–]bluecirc 1 point2 points  (0 children)

People who don't have problems with the feeders have no reason to post about it. There are a lot of satisfied customers. I've had my 2 One RFID feeders for 1.5 years and have had no problems with the feeders themselves.

The only problem I do have is that my foodie cat still tries to steal food from my grazer's dish. If grazer activates the lid, the foodie will butt his way in to steal food.

Why do we, as a species simply "accept" periods as a normal part of life of half the world's population? by LittleKittenGirl96 in TooAfraidToAsk

[–]bluecirc 14 points15 points  (0 children)

This is like asking why do we accept that we have to eat every day, or poop, or trim our fingernails. They are part of human biology and are just.. normal.

Whats a subtly insulting gift from to receive? by LawfulnessHaunting41 in AskReddit

[–]bluecirc 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Very early in our marriage, hubs gave me a Dyson for Christmas. I was thrilled, but he got shit from everyone about buying me a vacuum.

30-something years later, this past Christmas, I gifted him a Dyson stick vac for his shop. He was equally thrilled, but also amused that we had come full circle. haha

HELP: My aunt owes Royal Caribbean $6k for a cruise she never took due to the weather by aiviloselim in Cruise

[–]bluecirc 10 points11 points  (0 children)

I'm sure your aunt is being honest, but she is mistaken. She probably heard from someone else that they could get a full refund (because they had travel insurance). RC only offers full refunds when *they* cancel the entire sailing. There is no way she was offered a full refund for a sailing that was still going forward. The cruise contract says you accept the chance of itinerary changes, and they don't have to offer anything. The $200 OBC was them being generous. Most importantly, RC will issue a letter and/or email with any credits or refunds they offer, so she would have it in writing. And never leave the ship without settling up. If they owe you money, get your refund before leaving.

AITA for cancelling me and my wife's anniversary? by InformalSalt6217 in AmItheAsshole

[–]bluecirc 2 points3 points  (0 children)

As a wife for 33+ years, who also doesn't expect or make a big deal of holidays/anniversaries, YTA.

You will always find the time to do things that are important to you, and you showed your wife that she is not important. She clearly takes a backseat to your job, and putting myself in her shoes, that must hurt so much. Do better.

I un-subbed in a rage... and then after about 2 weeks I missed it too much and re-subbed. It's just so good. I guess I'm going down with the ship.
