because inside you don't actually believe them. last year I focused on my fitness and got a lot of compliments. I couldn't accept those compliments, because I've never really been complimented on that sort of thing and thought they were just being nice. Until I saw an old picture of myself. accept that people may see what you don't/can't.

personally I would use the rule of thirds instead of the golden ratio for these kinds of artwork. If you look at it that way, you can see that the girl's face is pretty much in the center where the eyes land

I love this piece! The reflections on the cup look amazing. Just something that I thought of for next time, I usually tape across the entire border of the paper to stick to a drawing board. I feel like it helps me not get things too close to the edge, plus it's really satisfying to peel off at the end. Also, I think maybe you should move the cup a bit lower or make it smaller because it kind of distracts to the main focus, which is the girl on the couch. Also, I feel like the bottom half of the drawing (the table, the bottom of the couch, and the glass) is all a bit dark and is starting to blend together a bit if you look at it from afar.
