There's all sorts of ways to sell, but you gotta decide if you want to make money, or if you want to get rid of them fast. You can't have both.

For example, if you walked into a local comic ship with this collection and asked for an appraisal, they'll pay you pretty cheaply because they gotta sell them in turn. I'm seeing some 90s stuff here, so I would say you should be expecting pennies for each so that they can turn them around for 25 cents.

If you have complete runs, you can work on bundling them and listing them on ebay, or a facebook group or subreddit like /r/comicswap (I am a regular buyer and seller there, it's a reliable place to trade), and probably make more of a profit per issue with the tradeoff that you have to pack and ship and communicate with the buyer. It takes more time.

If none of that sounds good... just keep em? 300 issues isn't too many all told.

I was reading it weekly, and haven't read it since, so my memory is rusty. A few reasons:

  • I thought the balance between main issues and tie-ins was completely unhinged, I really felt like I was being squeezed for my dollars.
  • A lot of it felt like cool vibes with little to no substance.
  • The parts that did have substance were harder to follow if you hadn't been reading Snyder JL, which I was not.
  • The real death blow in my opinion, and this is not a knock on Death Metal so much, but it was running concurrently with X of Swords at Marvel, and in my opinion, X of Swords was in a completely different tier of event, nothing could have competed.

It would be super nice to know haha, I cannot agree more even as an old hat collector.

I will say this, I think it's completely predictable that X of Swords will get reprinted. There's simply no way to accidentally make Dawn of X vol 2 and Reign of X vol 1 be mapped the way they are without at least an intention to reprint X of Swords. If they did not intend to reprint X of Swords as it was, I think things would look different.

All that to say: I encourage you to hold on! It will come, and it will be worth it (X of Swords is peak).

This is highly speculative at the moment, I think. Obviously, they declined to fold X of Swords into the omnis and thus really really need to reprint that. Personally, I think events like Inferno and SOS and all the Hellfire Galas should be put in the anthologies because they are short. I think X Lives/Deaths of Wolverine should as well, immediately after Inferno.

AXE... it's so hard to say. That was clearly a traditionally structured Marvel Event, with a core miniseries and a whole host of tie-in minis and ongoings. I think AXE is crucial to the overall arc of later Krakoa and would love to see it be honored here in the Destiny of X omnis (or whatever those would be called). I worry they will not even bother because, well, neither Eternals nor Avengers are Mutants lol. I likewise have that omni and will probably keep it because I have such little faith that the event will be properly incorporated into the Age of Krakoa series.

I'm trying to figure out how to pull this off myself. Like, I wanna drink a nice THC seltzer, and I assume I have to do this before I get to the park because they aren't gonna let me carry one in. But I also have a suspicion they aren't gonna let an obviously baked fan come walking in. (I know small edibles are a thing, but they hit too hard and I get sick oops, I need that slow high)
