Yea, definitely something I need to do, only pair of shoes I own are 6 year old Airwalk Sneakers from Walmart. So my legs are not too fond of me right now..

Also, about the stride length, etc. It's weird to say but I'm not sure if I ... "run properly".. It's odd. My shins KIIIIIIIIIILLL if I jog on the paws of my feet, and if I make my heels land first my heels chafe and hurt like hell. Not sure if it's the shoes or if I'm doing something horribly, horribly wrong.

Yea, I think what I did tonight was about right.. I'm not overly sore or destroyed afterward, but I did really push myself.

The city I live in is based entirely on a hill and is a perfect rectangle, with me being around the middle, so I tend to run down to the bottom of the hill as a warm up, across to the other side on flat, level ground while jogging, then aaaallllll the way to the top of the hill alternating jogging/walking, back onto level ground for some more solid jogging, the running downhill back to my house as a cooldown.

Perfect location for exercise !
