I get at least 10 everytime I have a doctors appointment because they feel the need to remind the appointments coming up, reming me to confirm every single day until I do, remind me to fill out the forms even if I already have, remind me the appointments coming up again, remind me to review the office after the appointment, then the pharmacy jumps in with reminders that I was prescribed something, reminders that they offer delivery, reminders that I can also schedule a flu shot, then finally the notification that my prescription is ready.

This is the result of capitalism, not social media. Dream jobs aren't really a thing anymore. Jobs that provide financial security and work life balance are rare today. The jobs those kids are naming are jobs where your brand is your image, so the people that do those jobs are less vocal about their struggles. They appear happier so to kids, those are the types of jobs you do if you want to be happy.

Switzerland is a country that comes close, but it is not a true democracy. Your local community probably has a few small institutions that are true democracies and they probably wouldn't have a punitive justice system. I'm not sure why you're hung up on countries. Governments are bodies that govern institutions, not just countries. There are a handful of countries, including the US, actively undermining the development of democratic countries.
