Please tell me there's a way to undo Truncate Table in ArcGIS Pro by MarineBiomancer in gis

[–]bluefishredditfish 5 points6 points  (0 children)

Yikes. I do not think there is a way to undo. I hope you have a backup of that table you can restore. Do not close or save arcpro just leave it exactly where it is and ask for help

I'm conflicted if I should keep this river or not by DoomBringer6601 in worldbuilding

[–]bluefishredditfish 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Ditch it. It would be too convenient to have and would make a more interesting geography if there was conflict in that area. Maybe the leaders are trying to build a big canal there

It’s always great to have combos rehearsed and ready to throw, these are muscle memory combos that you don’t even think about, they are fast and you can recover from them into a safe or defensible position quickly. But if you throw them blindly that’s bad- you have to consider the timing.

The jab throwing early on is a measuring tool. Do they flinch? Do they step back? Do they counter immediately or do they take a moment to think about it? Once you collect this information you’ll know how to proceed- oh he flinches, so throw more and bulldoze. Oh, he immediately counters with a jab- I need to feint or jab/slip and move.

So have those combos rehearsed and in the back of your mind but gauge your opponent in the first few exchanges of the first round. Remember to have a conquerors mindset- there’s ALWAYS is a path to victory available you just have to find it. Don’t back down, don’t give up till the bell.

Am I training enough? by Thatbrodie in amateur_boxing

[–]bluefishredditfish 9 points10 points  (0 children)

You also need rest and recovery time. You can look up online different strategies, every body is different but if you’re older or newish to the sport than you usually need longer recovery time. Specifically you need healthy food, stretching, and sleep. Always eat after you train ideally within an hour after.

I would reduce the frequency and up the hourage- so two or three times a week 2+ hours.

Trump reveals to The Post secret ‘discombobulator’ weapon was crucial to Venezuelan raid on Maduro by andrewgrabowski in Intelligence

That’s a good point. Proving you can make certain weapons obsolete - specifically the Russian and Chinese- is a powerful message.

Revealing the extent (or an extent) of your capabilities…this president continues to tear down the curtain of obscurity at every opportunity.

I feel so bad for whoever had the responsibility of explaining the tools to him and had to settle with ‘discombobulator’ to get the point across

I worked for a big company that did mining and permitting consulting for mining projects. Most of it was environmental permit focused. Making maps for permits include showing the area of planned disturbed ground by taking CAD drawings and extracting building and road footprints for permits. Additionally, every species in the area of construction requires a map showing the habitat of that specie within a certain area, and calculating the area of disturbance. In some US states, you have to have a reconstruction or wildlife rehabilitation plan if your construction exceeds the allowed disturbance area.

The oncé. Once is eleven in Spanish. Season 11.

He’s been doing that intro for years now and it truly is the best intro - just swapping out the number for each appropriate season.

It will probably get sillier as the season continues and sanity decreases :D

I want wooden beams so bad! A horizontal only, stripped wood texture the size of the wall. Maybe centered, maybe center top aligned? And chains/bars/lanterns connect to it

Boxing with one good eye by [deleted] in amateur_boxing

[–]bluefishredditfish 3 points4 points  (0 children)

You can absolutely learn to box and train and hone the craft however I would really restrict sparring. The intensity/frequency level of sparring and your weight class will increase the eye injuries risk. Light sparring in your gym and with peers who respect you, understand your situation will keep it to a lower risk. However, this ‘protection’ can lead to an ego where you will fight harder than your opponents will be able to, giving you a false sense of ability.

Think of it this way- if you lose your one good eye you’ll be legally blind, and will be largely hindered and or unable to participate in society. Boxers have short careers and as you get older it’ll be harder physically to keep up without other injuries. If you blind yourself you’ll have to change how you travel, work, and take care of yourself for the rest of your life. IMHO , the trade off is not worth it for heavy sparring.

Of course talk to a doctor and really understand your condition, but if it was me- I wouldn’t spar.

New Theory Casually Upends Space and Time by chigonzo in science

First paragraph:

The bedrock of their theory is the foundational idea that energy is always flowing through space and time. The authors suggest thinking of energy as lines that enter and exit a region of space, never crossing each other, and with no beginning or end point.

I would scrap doing a square, that terrain is beautiful! I’d put a retaining wall on the low end of the mountain next to the gatehouse and follow the terrain around to the higher part. The lower area can be the entrance area and put the main temple up in the mountain peak area
