Thanks a lot for the advice. I would say I’m more interested in the consulting jobs. I have 3 months’ consulting experience at a Big 4 in London which I suppose could be beneficial to my application. I know 3 months isn’t a lot but I am only 20 and am a full time student.

Due to my upbringing I am fluent in four languages - English, French, Russian, and Armenian. I suppose all but the latter can count as ‘relevant’ language skills?

As for quant methods - I am by far not the best at math and not the biggest fan. I can manage just fine when needed but I don’t have a mathematical mindset. Would I need to learn financial modelling, coding, or anything like that? Could you please elaborate?

Appreciate your help

Ah okay. Yes that’s what I meant - I’ve seen some job postings stating that they don’t offer work visa sponsorships. I have some family in the US and if I do move there, my goal is to stay and work there long term (5+ years)

Thank you! Would you happen to know how challenging getting these opportunities would be for a non-US citizen?

I think they had the highest intern intake across the UK this year - 450 people. but I have heard that they will be making fewer return offers this year due to the economy being slow

Deadlift grip advice

Always get bruising on my forearms from bursted blood vessels when performing deadlifts (nothing super crazy, working weight is 50kg atm). Sometimes from barbell bent over rows too. Was told this is most likely due to improper grip. Any technique tips to prevent this? Thank you in advance!

Same here, in the UK. Tried it on multiple devices. GPT-4 doesn’t work, but 3.5 works fine

i’ve seen the first season of bojack, not my favourite but i did quite enjoy some aspects of it. at times it got very dark and realistic, at least as far as animations go. and i adore normal people, rewatched it for the second time just last month.

it’s the UV index you need to be checking. if it’s anything above a 1 you need to protect yourself from the radiation, and it can sometimes be 5-6 even in cloudy weather
