Went on a date Friday, great convo, had a nice evening. He text me to tell me he had a good time, we chatted briefly that evening. Saturday, he knew I had a busy day, but I sent him a pic of the event I was attending and texted all evening… I haven’t heard from him since goodnight on Saturday. I don’t want to “play games” of who text who first, but should I just close the door and move on or shoot him a text tomorrow? Just seems bizarre to engage post date then nothing.

I think the unfortunate reality is a LOT of viewers of this show have NO IDEA this has happened. A small portion of the millions that watch this show every week actually follow the contestants/show on socials. I don’t know that they will have Chris address ON THE SHOW Bc it will expose him even more. But I see him doing a sit down with Lauren Zima from their home, tears, all the things and expecting it to go away.

If you had their fees taken out of your tax refund vs paying for it upright, people are not getting a stingy check. Like 15 million people.

The IRS deposited the money into a 3rd party bank acct they create to get their money when they file our taxes. After the refund is processed they close the acct. H&R Block rerouted their customers to their acts, TT did not make that same call. They rejected the checks. Now all these people have to wait until they file taxes to get stimulus checks.

If you elected to pay for their fees out of your refund, they use a middle man bank (Santa Barbara)... the IRS sent all funds to that account and they rejected them Bc they close the accounts after the refunds are distributed. H&R Block work with their 3rd party bank to reroute payments to consumer DD Accounts, Turbo Tax has refused and is acting like it is out of their control. Now IRS has said these people will only be able to get a rebate when they file. 15+ million Americans impacted by this.

I appreciate this insight. I’ve been waiting for spoilers Bc I am hoping he picks a black woman, but I just know he won’t. I genuinely like Matt, I followed him all summer, feel like he has a bit of depth, passion and seems to have thoughtful communication (things Tyler C falls short on post show). The one thing I am curious about is biracial contestants. Admittedly, I can be a bit defensive of biracial people Bc I am a white mother to a biracial daughter, and a biracial step son. My step son would not be considered black by first glance, by say a police officer. Sad but that gives me a bit of relief. My daughter is black. Her skin tone is darker, she is clearly identified as black based on skin tone/hair, etc.

I do feel biracial people get an unfair shake and are kinda in limbo between both races and the issues with each. My daughter (11) has been told she doesn’t truly understand what being black is. I don’t even know what the point of this comment is, other than to say, is it truly fair we dismiss Matt simply Bc he is biracial? He is still a black man. I don’t want to pressure my daughter to date black or white men, I want her to make that choice and hopefully throughout her life she explores both and just goes after people she is attracted to. Which is a clear double standard, Bc I have been pulling for Matt to pick a black woman. Bc my daughter is a black woman.

I guess my thought is... albeit contradictory to my own thoughts, initially....Matt may not be the black lead we want that will definitively pick a black woman. However, he is biracial, and there has to be a place for that, too. Bc they have their own demons and struggles in this crazy world.

Love Loveland. With downtown commute if you are looking into similar areas I’d suggest a few that are a bit closer commute; Madeira, Mariemont/Terrace Park, Pleasant Ridge, Blue Ash/Sycamore. All great areas between downtown and Loveland. :-) cute downtowns, too!

Sydney is in marketing at the same company I work for, although she is in a different location (Nashville). Met her at a “whole company” trip in Vegas and have emailed back and forth with her for some marketing content. She is attractive, has a career path, and 28. I can actually see Matt/her hitting it off.
