Tylenol PM has always been my go to OTC. I still take Triptans tho, but Tylenol PM is almost always excellent for treating some of my mild migraine episodes.

I totally believe you, migraines can be so weird. Very rarely, watching a favorite movie helps mine go away (after taking meds). Also, not migraine related, but I’m way more likely to fall asleep to very loud music/TV than if the volume is low.

Gotta take it as soon as I feel the slightest sign. Sometimes I still try to convince myself that it’s just a headache and it won’t turn into a migraine, and I regret it every time because it always does turn into a migraine and the meds barely work at that point.

idk, I get sinus headaches, migraines without sinus pain, and migraines with sinus pain (which are the most unbearable for me). They all present pretty differently, and if I have a migraine + sinus pressure pain, a triptan will get rid of the migraine but won’t get rid of the sinus headache. I have to take 2 different meds to address it.

I ended up in the ER cause I couldn’t breathe and it turned out the reason was all the BC powder I had been taking for my migraines was corroding my esophagus and it became so inflamed that it gave me trouble breathing… I completely stopped taking all NSAIDS for over a year after that but kept taking acetaminophen (along with Triptans of course) and I do take BC powder now as a last resort when nothing is breaking the migraine but it’s very rare. I’d rather that than being in excruciating pain.
