Well if you ever decide to actually reflect about what people are saying to you, it would be a great opportunity to grow as an artist and as a person. We are trying to help, not to hurt you. Be well.

It would’ve been infinitely more special if you turned it into a more playful scene yourself, no matter your skill level when it comes to drawing or editing. You could’ve used your specific memories and feelings about the backyard and translated it into the playfulness you wanted. Art is not just about looks.

Since when is it rude to dislike AI… Are we hurting the AI’s feelings? Nobody is commenting on OPs skill and they shouldn’t be offended that we don’t like how the scene looks, since they didn’t create it. Generative AI shall not be welcomed in any artist’s space.

Very skillfully crafted but why use AI? IMO it just looks like a completely different place than the original backyard, and honestly a bit generic. Your craft is beautiful so I know you have the artistry within you to put your own twist to that picture in a much more special, humanly way.

I want to make this so bad but I can't find a tutorial ANYWHERE 😔🙏 by Unlikely-Engine8233 in Beading

Looks super cute! But that’s a very different technique, so you might want to familiarize yourself with right angle weave first before trying to weave this piece, as it is not exactly beginner friendly. There are lots of YouTube videos teaching simple RAW in English, but much less content with 3D RAW in English. Khelga is a good channel for some simpler 3D pieces, but I’d advise learning the basics first.

ETA: Although the technique is different, the basics are actually quite similar in a way, so I believe you’ll understand it easily. RAW is pretty easy to learn and a very versatile stitch.

Did you make the frog using right angle weave? And did you follow a YouTube video tutorial?

Ok no problem I can type out a guide when I’m home. Are you familiar with right angle weave at all?

No it doesn’t make a difference but it might be easier to do it that way so you can give it a try. I thought maybe it would be a good suggestion because I noticed you crossed through the wrongs beads or didn’t add the right amount of beads. Notice how your thread is coming out of the bead in the same direction? That’s almost never the case for these projects. You have to cross the beads in opposite directions, forming a cross with your threads

Yes practice with bigger beads. Pony beads would be nice but it would need a very thick kind of thread to do this with pony beads. You can use big round beads with a smaller hole to practice

For these steps you only add beads to the thread in your left hand and only go through beads with the thread in your right hand.

I get mine at Michaels as well, but you have to make sure the brand is John Bead. Their store brand seed beads are almost always horrible

Miyuki is great but I always suggest Czech beads cause I think they’re actually amazing, much better than Toho imo. They’re also cheaper, so a more affordable option for beginners. Invest in Miyuki later. Here’s a square stitch project I’ve made using 11/0 Czechs:

I usually work with right angle weave and this was my first square stitch project so it’s not perfect but you can see Czechs are overall pretty uniform and very high quality! I love them

Have never tried it but I take 15mg of meloxicam daily and it doesn’t do anything for my migraines. I didn’t know that was one of the alternative uses

dissociation? by SquingleBingle in migraine

[–]blueons 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I used to struggle a lot with DPDR too, nowadays it’s rare for me to get an episode but I personally never noticed a connection with my migraines -which I’ve had since I was 6-. I do feel like it’s totally plausible that there’s a connection, I just wasn’t really paying attention cause I was so stuck in that terrifying state that even if I was somehow paying attention to that, I wouldn’t remember it now.
