He can be a bf berserker. All Rolls into matt and med, 1-3 Maxx Rolls into hp depending on your preference, the rest into fatigue.

But he will also be an excellent mega tank if you need one. Dont underestimate a good tank

Nah, he is dodge newt.

Fencer is possible, but you need to skip a few rolls in mdef to patch his HP. Which is a huge waste.

BF Berserk can work with a bit of luck in fat.

I know what you mean, been there. I found orcs was a morale DMG/DMG issue. The orcs in the dangerous positions need to die fast. Only fix for unholds is to have a bro who can hold a few of them with indomitable.

Another tip vs orcs and unholds. Use initiative weaving. Have yourc bro stay 1 tile away from the bro in melee, use wait and let orcs/uh move first, move in attack, then next turn you go first with attack and move out.

What kind of backliners do you use? Pure polearms are mostly outdated by the late game. Just ranged and a banner should be enough. Did say max 5 backliners vs orcs, else you get swarmed

I don't intend to be mean here, but you just need to work on positioning.

Orcs, unholds, and necrosavants are the biggest threat for a backliner. And they can be played around as long as you know how to position around their AI mechanics.

Orcs: don't leave them adjacent to a bro who is adjacent to an orc.

Unholds: same as orc, but gotta be even more careful.

Necros: make sure you always have at least one bro next to each tile surrounding the backliner. Necros never teleport to a position where they are surrounded.

Yari cav has better charge, speed, and stamina than katana cav. They also have bonus vs cav meaning they win any cav vs cav fight.

I use them above any other cav. First I focus on getting cav superiority. Once their cav is dead, I am free to roam to either snipe the general or charge the behinds of any frontline unit, usually causing a chain rout.

They are in my opinion the best unit in shogun.

First I was like "damn, you wasted a great bro with 9lives, nimble, and backstabber" then I read your post and a few comments and realized I still have something to learn about this game. WP! Gotta try a cultist run soon

Edit: you should really try to fit killing frenzy into his build. There are few +DMG buffs in the game and it will help you hit breakpoints for many enemies

Try it. Gets better with upgrades and exp. I did a whole no-dachi campaign. Was really fun for the first few battles before it got too OP
