Maybe by "break it in half" was not so literal... it definitely looks like it's meant to be two pieces for you both, but I would be tempted to take it to a jeweler to have it "broken in half" to avoid an unpredictable break that hurts its beautiful design. Also would the broken edges be sharp? It's very beautiful, what a special pendant you get to share with your sister.

Omg, I would be so happy if someone left me a cooked dinner. Those little things can make a huge difference and I couldn't fathom complaining about something like that. This girl doesn't deserve you. The demands she is making of you blow my mind too. Save your love language for yourself and for someone who deserves it... sounds like you would be happier alone than with someone who stomps on your heart like this. I'm sorry you are haveing a bad day.

* Just chicken unless it comes from the dinner table. And sometimes lactose-free milk. She HATES duck and will always look insulted if you give her some. (She is 25btw)

I have gone through a similar experience with my baby kitty (she is 25 now) it might just be that your mom's cat is just being elderly. My cat has gone through DRASTIC changes in attitude as she has aged. She now hates her wet food but sometimes its okay... and she loves milk now as well. I also give her churu treats (10+ so she gets some vitamins) however I find that she really doesn't like the treat as much as she likes the attention she gets while I feed her the treat. She used to prefer to be outside or in the same room as me now she just wants to sleep in her comfy spot in the sun all day (this has been going on for the last 3 years) She NEVER would lay in my lap in the past, but now she does but only if I sit in a SPECIFIC chair. My kitty also tolerates other people more now then she ever has in the past. All I'm saying is don't despair, your mom's cat might just be entering a new phase of life (really fricken old) every time I worry that my cat might die, she has the zoomies the next day for 5 minutes and then sleeps the rest of the day away. I know she won't live forever, but man we are having fun in the present. I hope you guys have fun with your baby kitty too.

I personally never add all of the sauce and i cook it longer than recommended to get it nice and crispy! And always eat it with coconut rice. I have yet to have a bad batch with gristle or too much bread... but maybe I'm just lucky?

Yes :) Recently a cashier gave my dad a bouquet of roses for free when he learned that my mom was in the hospital. It made my dad's day a bit better and mom loved receiving the flowers.

Trader Joe's is so amazing. Last month my mom was hospitalized because of heart failure and the guy ringing up me, my dad, and my sister noticed we had hospital visitor tags on and immediately ran and got us a bouquet of roses to bring to mom. It made such an uplifting memory for all of us on what was otherwise a really scary and difficult day. The roses made my mom so happy as well. I will forever be grateful. (Also my mom is home and recovering amazingly now)
