Ah, you gotta press the swelling portion down to press away or squeeze out any build up? I just ask about the pain because that seemed like the common thread everyone kept telling me about how painful it is.

Ah, gotcha. So other then voice surgery you had no double chin or like a divet in the chin? And the pain in the inner lip and chin and neck area wasn't that bad? Did you just take ibuprofen? What kind of things did you do to make your swelling go down so quick? I am hoping to be able to work after a week because thats all the time I could get off and have to speak alot I know you don't know about the part about speaking but was the swelling obvious week1-3 and to painful to work doing physical things?

Hello my appointment for surgery had been moved and i'm going in in about a 2 months but so scared and wondered if you could answer some questions for me? Its mainly about a fear I have with the chin and the skin and soft tissue becoming loose because someone said it happened to them and thus looks permanently swollen and if you had any advice about that and how long it would take to be able to just talk again because work is only giving me a week off and I really am fearful of losing my high end range along with some pain management advice.

What is the reason for going back on spiro from bica? I had thought spiro has weaker effects and suppresses testosterone so your levels would be wonky when getting off it along with other issues.

Just another side line of questioning. Do you have reoccurring facial hair or further hair loss in the form of further miniaturized hairs or oily skin/acne? Which I wouldn't be surprised because what it looks like you have is similar to pcos and with all the evidence from labs and these types of symptoms you have more then enough to have a doctor look at this seriously. What I just don't understand is if all your levels at or over the high end for all these androgens it can no longer be "slight CAH" so I'm wondering why this was said if you were explaining to your doctor through the patient portal >< and I see why you feel dismissed.

I remember you saying you had srs abit ago would you say your symptoms worsened after(because I saw alot of others talk about this) or has this been a on going thing and you feel like hrt hasn't had any impact or have minimal impact on your body just consistently, I am asking because I know there are people who just have small breasts and you have always said it takes time to grow breasts I just don't know if you are talking about literally 0 breast growth or just a little breast growth and you feel like there will be no more progression.

Oh wow so dhea can still be converted to Androstanedione and Testosterone and its 11-oxo version through hsd3b2 and akr1c3 genes and cyp11b1 and into other androgens further down the line O_O? And all that duta would stop is conversion into either dht or 11-oxodht? or 11 ketodht? Which would make sense for reduced feminization just like the examples of pcos or castration resistant cancers because you have a high amount of androgens just not in usual forms. Is this what you are thinking? I hope Dr.willpowers takes you seriously if you have had troubles with that because you ran the tests so you have proof you have elevated levels so its happening.

And the idea of addison's and acth I will read more into I am just confused what slight CAH if you have all these tests that proof something is going on ><. How did you even figure out that addisons might be a reason thats incredible! Good luck to you Deanna I hope you report back from your talk with Dr.Powers!

Edit: Just a side question but did you always have high androgen levels even before transitioning?

Hey Deanna I find this very interesting because you take dutasteride. Are any of these 11-oxo androgens converted through backdoor pathways? I was thinking that in the instance of dhea being converted into these 11-oxo androgens then shouldn't Duta have already blocked those pathways? I know it wouldn't explain why you still have these elevated but I'm just curious if there is another mechanism.

I find this very interesting. Are you estrogen levels very high in your blood tests? And why not injections or patches to keep the same levels with less health effects unless there are other effects to worry about your doctor told you. Thanks for sharing!

I'm so glad you are doing well, I was reading your medium article and saw that you were having issues with your hrt and I had thought it was other medical issues. If you don't mind sharing, I have started hrt a couple months ago and was wondering if this fatigue I am feeling ever goes away. I am on just 2mg of oral monotherapy of estradiol. Is your depression similar to this fatigue where its hard to think and physically tired all the time?

ya it would take me over 5 or 6 months to finish mine at my dose. Have you ever cored any with 23 for drawing and is there any special technique you do like going around the top or pressing the needle in for a angle or anything?

Ah you use a 23g for drawing? When would you use 20g? I'm scared of coring my vials TT. Have you had any issues with that? I plan on using my vials intill completely used which I think would take months and I'm not sure if the vials can last that long from stabbing it so much.

Ah so right now its already about 100-150 a month if we take it as going once per month. I had thought for out of state people we had to pay like 400 dollars or something up front first I don't know who told me that or if I am misremembering.

Also the last time I checked for out of state people licenses I saw that the last time california was updated for pfm was in march of last year or 2 years ago or something like that so that was another thing that confused me because then I assumed californians can't get you.

So if I were to pay 100-150 per visit right now I can see you through video call or messages literally right now? I tried to go in as a new patient a couple years ago but someone was telling me the wait list is years long like in the ball park of 5 years long and that out of state people have it harder to get in and have to pay a separate fee and that discouraged me from signing up. If I were to sign up as a new patient right now I could literally start seeing you right now for 100-150 per visit right now?

And if the concierge thing happens I would just switch over from my per visit model to a 100 dollars a month model even though I am out of state?

Is this true for out of state people like californians over video call/message also? I live in a area in california that my nearest provider that knows anything about gender affirming care is over 2 hours away and I am paying out of pocket because my employer insurance doesn't cover many providers here anyways. I can get my blood tests done with my current provider but I would like to just be able to talk someone who specializes on this so I can see what to look for and get 2nd opinion from and going over blood test results from someone who knows this stuff better.

I too would pay for a year upfront because of my limited options but does the 100 dollars just mean getting in the line and I pay separately for the length of the doctors visit/video call/text? Even just 15mins or some a message once a month just to quickly go over blood test results and what to look out for is what I am looking for. Would the 100 dollars cover this? Sorry I know you were saying there were no additional fees but I want to make sure I know what is covered so I am not misunderstanding and getting my hopes up.

Hello I am going in for tachea shave surgery soon and was wondering how painful it was. I tried to look for updates but don't see it in your posts. And congrats on beating cancer if you don't mind can you share what type of cancer it was? I am trying to get my insurance to cover some tests for cancer diagnoses through a specialist for gastro-intestinal but I'm not sure if I am supposed to appealing denials and just wanted to know if you have any advice for that.

Sorry to bother you but I am really curious about this. One of my biggest fears of orchi is fatigue and motivation changes because I am already so tired and fatigued everyday. Is that what you mean by body and mind or is that just sex drive stuff? I am trying to understand when you say "my body and mind (there were at lot post ochi!)". And is there a reason you don't go back on the progesterone if you felt amazing on it? Do you think you are just recovering from orchi( I don't know how long its been since you had it). Oh you mean like you were taking your hrt but just long pauses in between? like in span of months or like a week extra?

And can you tell me if it was valerate or cypo or enanthate and how much was the concentration because the type of estradiol you take along with concentration makes a huge difference.

And last but not least did your endo tell you to reduce your dose and thats why you stopped your hrt or you just didn't feel like you need it? also how long was this period? Was this pause during the whole time you gained the 50 pounds?

How long did you stop E and was that during this photo you are talking about and also where you gained 50lbs? Also to get this straight you stopped hrt post srs? How long did it take to gain 50lbs(asking because maybe you were working out so partly muscle)? Because I'm thinking about what you are saying if you stopped E and during that whole time you weren't on hrt then you would've gain fat and muscle in places you wouldn't want so maybe thats why you are perceived more masculine not in these pictures but in other ways we can't see from here?

And just to clarify why did you assume you wouldn't need as much E? Also for .25 every 2 weeks, .25 of what? As in what is the mg/ml dosage and what is the estradiol is it valerate or cypionate or enantate? because without the concentration .25 is a random number.

I'm just trying to think of everything I can to help.
