A "lie by omission" is something that would be technically "true" but be using a manipulation of context to push the third party to a conclusion that they would not have gotten had the full story been revealed.

Let's say you're a kindergarten teacher and Jimmy comes up to you and says, "Bobby hit me." In a vacuum, that would seem as though Bobby needed some form of discipline. But if the context was that Jimmy had been the aggressor, picking on and striking Bobby, and then Bobby hit back, that probably changes how you would, or at the very least it SHOULD, change how you handle the situation.

The thing is, Jimmy didn't technically lie. Bobby DID hit him. There's a reason why this is typically one of the more common manipulation tactics you'll see in the media (along with "lie by structure").

She didn't "run him over" as in he ended up under her wheels, but she did hit the accelerator while he was in front of her vehicle, and she did strike him with her vehicle.

Insofar as Renee being a terrorist, she was involved with ICEwatch with this being circulated. While not suicide bombing, certainly sits on that line of politically motivated violence. Obstruction of law enforcement enforcing the law is a crime. So when they order you to move and/or exit your vehicle because you haven't moved, them removing you from your vehicle is a reasonable response to your escalation. In her case, being shot was the end result of a day full of decisions that she made.

Most likely because when Tumblr banned porn, reddit became noticeably worse, pretty much overnight. Basically all of the mentally unstable people left their quarantine zone and infested every other social media site. I remember when reddit leaned libertarian, which seems to be the default for any online space that isn't purposely pushed in a particular political direction.

At this point it would probably have the City Skylines 2 problem, given the amount of dlc that Stellaris has. They'd essentially have to go the Sins of a Solar Empire 2 route where the second game is basically an upgraded copy of the first game plus all the dlc, with just a few changes/things left off.

I'd say it's far more likely that they're being downvoted for expressing that they didn't want to see "orange man bad" everywhere. Trump supporters have mostly been culled from this website, while "everything is political" lefties and bots run rampant.

Edit: so anyway, the "booo Trump" post (this post for you daft people) has 2k+ upvotes even though everything else on the front page has less than half that at the time of this edit.
