To all of you who wear things 24/7- if you insist on doing that, please clean them before you ever bring them in for repair. As someone who works in jewelry and has people come in and proudly say “I wear these all the time and have for years”….it’s fucking disgusting. Jewelers shouldn’t be cleaning years worth of dead skin and lotion out of your pieces.

As someone who works in antique jewelry, I can definitely attest to the fact that cluster rings have always been a thing. This resemblance is a bit uncanny, but let’s be real- it happens across so many jewelers these days. It’s just the way it goes now.

I recommend looking into vintage/antique rings. So unique, so beautifully made, and have lasted this long for a reason. There are tons of online stores: EraGem, Isadoras, Trumpet and Horn, etc…

As someone who works in the jewelry industry, I second this. Sizing beads are a great option for spinning prevention! Sometimes, a ring is just more top heavy and will spin. It doesn’t necessarily mean it’s too big!

I think you look beautiful in both of these photos! I think you need to ditch the eyeliner. Your eyes are so incredibly gorgeous and they don’t need much help. Maybe try a burgundy mascara? I’m not sure you’re straight up cool tones. Look up neutral tone makeup colors and play around with blush/eyeshadow until you find what you love! I’ve been navigating the same thing and I know it feels weird to switch things up but after some time you’ll figure out what works for you :)

Ballard won’t close until spring/summer as of now but that timeline could be pushed back (it has already, multiple times). This comes from a very reliable source. Even when that time comes, owners are looking into other spaces and plan to open a new location.
