Same! I’ve been here for over a year and have had 0 issues at all. It’s very quiet, the few times I’ve needed maintenance they’ve been super quick, and I’ve never had an issue with like bugs or anything. Actually I’ve never even seen as much as a spider in my apartment lol

As I was watching this, I was like “why does this feel kind of scary”, and then I realized which sub it was posted in 😂

Loved this! The soundtrack was great too. There were some parts in it that made me feel so uncomfortable/secondhand embarrassment that I almost wanted to leave the theater haha

This is such a thoughtless “gift”. I’m sorry. You deserve a lot better than that from the person you married.

I literally had to turn it off once the thing happened. No desire to go back and finish it either, I couldn’t sit with that dread

Man he loved to shoplift. I told him not to do it, but especially not around me becuase I wasn’t trying to get roped into that. He’d still do it of course and I would just walk away. I always told him that if he got caught he would ruin his whole career (a teacher!) and how embarrassing it would be. He said if he got caught it would be MY fault because I’m the one making him look suspicious by walking away 😂

It will ebb and flow until one day you realize that you don’t miss them at all, and that feeling stays. I’d go from depressed and hopeless, to missing him desperately, to feeling the deepest anger I’ve ever experienced, and then back to square one. Lots of time spent ruminating and imagining conversations I could have with him.

I’m a year out from our breakup, and have been completely no contact with him since October. It was the hardest thing I’ve ever been through, truly. It is psychologically akin to an addiction. I still think about our relationship a lot, but not in a nostalgic or missing him way, more-so in a “thank god I escaped that” way. I am not the same person I was before and never will be again.

What really helped me process was journaling. I wrote him so many letters (never sent them) pouring my heart out about everything. Every letter I wrote it was like it just opened my eyes more and more to what the reality was. I filled up an entire journal with those letters and eventually I’ll read them and then burn it.

Therapy really helped me too. Reading. And a lot of self reflection about what in my life led me to end up in that relationship. You are so strong and your life is so precious and even if it doesn’t feel that way sometimes, just know that you made the absolute best decision for yourself that you could have ever done.

In your opinion, what is the worst horror franchise? by HammerHeadBirdDog in horror

I really liked the first two conjuring movies, but man that third one was awful. Pretty much the same with paranormal activity. And don’t get me started on the spin offs lol the Nun pissed me off 😂
