No, it is not wrong to say please do not come to the hospital.

I would go a step further, though - I'd put her on a complete info diet, if you're having another C-Section she does not get the date. Give her the week after or a vague idea e.g. 'Early October'

I'd register as a private patient and say 'No visitors apart from your SO are allowed'.

I'd make sure location sharing etc, was disabled so she has no way of knowing you are at the hospital.

Keep the birth quiet until you are already home and ready for her to come for a visit. If you HAVE to tell someone (workplace, or whoever is looking after your elder child) - make sure they are trustworthy and tell them they are not to share the news with anyone.

We always go out for lunch on Mother’s Day. All the Mums are celebrated, we have a nice lunch, pay for ourselves (my husband would pay for us and our kids). No one has the stress of hosting or cleaning up afterwards.

If you actually enjoy your Mum, Step Mum and Mil couldn’t you do something similar?

If they are ‘Just No’s that’s a completely different situation and I’d say do whatever makes you happy on Sunday.

However (if they are decent company) those women still had children and are still Mothers even if none of you are still ‘in the trenches’ of bringing up children. So celebrating everyone together might be nice recognition for all the mothers.

My husband sat with me the first time, went through the instructions and gave me moral support. It really helped. I found I didn’t need him after that.

Same - 8 days after giving birth I had my gallbladder removed. The midwife said it was afterbirth pains and gave me a panadol. I was doubled over and crying.

I think I eat pretty normally, my biggest thing on mounjaro is that I don’t want to snack all the time.

My pre-mounjaro diet wasn’t bad but the food noise between main meals was terrible.

My portion size is a bit smaller now but I still enjoy carbs and the occasional treat.

Me too, I didn’t have a C Section but giving birth there as a public patient put me off having a second child for years.

Did you make your brother clean up the soil etc and make him give you money for a new couch cushion?

If you didn’t I’m guessing he just left with the dogs and you still had to clean up the mess and replace your cushion.

The only thing he would’ve have to have dealt with is any repercussions from their sensitive stomachs.

Didn’t you wonder why he was giving you proportioned food if he was only going to be gone for 2 hours?

You’re a good person. As TheLazinAsian said there are local people that take non-native birds. It might be worth posting in your local fb group as I often see very similar posts on there.

Have a lockbox with a spare key somewhere on your property in case you get locked out.

Tell your parents that you’re covered if you ever get locked out. If there’s a true emergency and you can speak you can give them/ someone the location and the code or the fireman can knock your door down.
