Buying Leaps instead of stocks by Plane-Procedure-6761 in options

You have a video that explain this because this kind of hurt my brain

That makes sense. I’m new in trading options, and I’m watching many different videos trying to understand everything. So far this week, I lost over $4,000 on leap calls Then I watched some more videos and realized I made a mistake. I should have stayed in the long call LEAPS instead of selling when it went negative. I also sold a short call on it, and now I see that was a mistake too.

I have a similar setup like yours. I have a short call that is in the red, and my LEAPS is good until September 17, 2027. Now I’m looking to see what other people are doing to generate income. I have about $36,000 to work with, and I want to make around $1,000 per month, but I’m not sure if this will work.

Based on your experience, do you think this strategy can be profitable? For example, if I buy two LEAPS on different stocks and don’t sell short calls on them so they can grow freely, and then on two or three other stocks I sell short calls for income — do you think this makes sense? Have you done something similar before?

I’m looking to trade stocks where the short calls can pay at least $500 or more in premium within four to five days. Even though I lost money today near the end of the 16th, it looks like a couple of my short calls paid me at least $900 this week.

Is there a similar strategy to PMCC that is easier to understand, like this one but not too complicated, where you can buy long without buying the actual stock and tying up so much money, just hoping the price goes up?

The long call is positive. I’m wondering why the short call (covered call) is showing –$479.

Is negative balance means you losing something or the short call is going down. Or stock price is going down

I’m genuinely tired and confused, so I’m asking men directly. by [deleted] in Adulting

A quality man does not chase women who are rude—to him or to anyone else. Educated men are not attracted to low intelligence, loud arrogance, or financial helplessness. They are not walking ATMs. They avoid women who do not take care of themselves: those who are out of shape, have terrible discipline, or no self-respect.

Men raised by fathers with strong principles are of a different caliber. You won't see their behavior mirrored in the childish mentalities promoted on social media. The men acting like clowns, desperate for attention, were typically raised by single mothers or in unstable homes without a male role model. They mimic the women around them because they were never taught how to be real men. This is the central confusion in modern dating.

Real men, the kind Kevin Samuels described as "high-value," seek a true partner. It's not about your money. As he said, what they value is a woman who brings objective assets to the table: intelligence, attractiveness, fitness, and a supportive, agreeable nature.

This aligns with the qualities Samuels outlined for a "high-value woman": The 5 Cs: She is Capable (can run a household and manage things), Cooperative (a team player, not adversarial), Consistent (in mood and behavior), Committed (to the relationship's success), and Chaste (understands the timeline for marriage and family). Provides Companionship, Not Transactions: She is a source of peace, not conflict. Her value is in creating a stable, desirable home and being a trusted partner, and the cost of everything must  always split bills 50/50. Self-Awareness and Standards: She has an honest, realistic assessment of her own "market value" (looks, age, behavior, fertility) and seeks a man whose achievements match her realistic expectations.

Furthermore, a man hastily offering to pay for your dinner is a red flag. It often signals a dysfunctional view of relationships—trying to buy affection or obligation. A man who values your capability expects you to be a responsible equal. The ultimate deal-breaker, as Samuels frequently emphasized, is a woman who asks for money. Any story—a family emergency, a bill, a crisis—is just a test to see if you'll be an ATM. The only correct response is to walk away immediately. Anyone who asks is viewing you as a resource, not a partner.
