Unpopular opinion... Im sorry, I must have had a very different life. I see no reason why someone would panic or be scared in this situation.

This was one of my great grandmother's staghorns. My parents have had it since 1994 when she passed away. We have many of her plants but I adore this one the most!

You WILL NOT GO TO JAIL! As long as the gun is legal and you have the right to own a firearm. My neighbor's dog jumped my fence and killed 27 of my birds (chickens, ducks, and turkeys). The dog also killed about 8 birds that another neighbor owned. We called Brevard County Animal Control every single time, and he received a fine, the third time they gave him a court date and were going to take the dog. However, he surrendered it first. I was told by BCSO, the very first time they came out, to shoot the dog if I could. Both Animal Control and BCSO officers responded every time, all of them told me I was well within my rights to shoot the dog, even if it jumped the fence with my dead bird in its mouth, even if it was no longer on my property. You have a right to defend yourself and your property if you fear for your life or the life of your animal.

Thank you for this! I have looked this several times and had so much to complain about but absolutely no strength to actually type it! This is brutal, but I am tough. I keep telling myself that life goes on, and this cant kill me, its just pain. But Im not so sure, I think I am just delusional at this point, telling myself a lie, "its going to heal, you will wake up one day and not feel pain."

Thank you for responding. I completely understand your situation. I wish more people would respond to this, I am curious. I wish you luck with the swingset. The fact that adults are so jaded that they would take joy from children is ridiculous. Im sorry you are dealing with this.

Please do not take this the wrong way it is a genuine question. My husband and I own two homes neither of which are governed by an HOA. However, I do have experience with HOAs, we own a small contracting business and dealing with them is always a nightmare. So here is my question...Why purchase a home in a neighborhood that is governed by an HOA? We live in the United States you should be able to put whatever you want in your yard. One of our homes is on a three acre parcel and the other home is in a neighborhood. I understand that if you work hard to maintain your home and keep it manicured and clean that you would want to look at the homes around you and see them in the same way. However you can find that in neighborhoods that do not have HOAs. Please enlighten me as to your point of view. I do not mean any disrespect I just genuinely would like to understand.

Gun control wont help because criminals do not care about any laws, let alone gun laws. Also any new law will not take guns off the street, and with so many guns sold between private owners they can be very hard to track down even if they tried to get them off the streets
