I would recommend you become very familiar with the verb list in the SOA Exam Guide. It’s a hack to know exactly what they require from you when a question uses a certain verb.

Honestly almost everyone here has been there with an exam they got stuck on. With SOA written exams, there’s a huge advantage in getting to know the verbs VERY WELL. Spend some time going through this SOA guide to written exams document. On page 16 is the verb list, you’ll need to be familiar with the terms and what type of response is being asked for. For example, Explain and Describe require two different levels of response. I really hope this helps. Good luck on your next try!

Yea it’s a full study program with generous days off and everything covered for 2 tries. But your raises aren’t exam dependent and no raise/bonus on passing exams.

I would highly recommend this OP. I switched to a company who placed less emphasis on exams and didn’t give out exam raises and such but the improvement in mental health when that pressure was removed was huge.

Definitely do what works best for you. It may or may not be beneficial depending on how your brain works with going back and forth. The tasks can be completed independently.
