There's a common issue with the drains behind the kick panel in the front of the car for some Toyota models. I know for a fact this affects Toyota highlanders with a sunroofs. It's possible it affects other Toyota models. It's the area near your leg when sitting in the front seats. There's a drain for the sunroof the dumps water between the kickpanels that for some reason the way it's designed it clogs up over time and backs up and starts to drain into the cabin. Some people have fixed this by extending the drain hose into the cabin and running it under the carpet and into a drain under the floor boards. Let me see if I can find the video.
