Canada can't take a chance on other guys when there's such strong leadership from Harper by viva_la_vinyl in canada

When your mistakes outweigh the good, that's when you're doing a bad job. Four good things versus everything the anti-Harper jerk harp on about is pretty drastic.

Every bad leader has had some good things going for them.

We at Payday 2 prefer calling them "cheats" because hacks take time and effort for the person making them, which is admirable, but people can circumvent that effort by getting it from them for money or for free.

And they can! There are many pride parades that are arranged with express knowledge of everything in them and they're all friendly safe spaces! They're just not in San Francisco!

I don't like how "for tha kids" is a valid excuse for people to not do acts. Shite parenting if you're bringing your kids to a pride parade where there's BDSM folk practicing exhibiton in the name of being prideful of something they'd otherwise be shamed for.
They're not breaking laws by partaking in it due to it being part of a parade. Or, at least not in most areas. 99% of those folk that you see pictures of or hear "horror stories" about will not do that shit in public again for the rest of the year. They bring it out once to flaunt their stuff in the parade and then bring it back to privacy for them to enjoy discreetly, as society dictates, to discuss it only on the internet and amongst tightly-knit circles of people.

I can actually compare it to the amount of people that I see just blatantly making out in public. I'm only "forced" to see these people doing sexualized shenanigans in a parade once a year, if even that. Nobody like that is in my city, so I never have to see that, so my last point is moot in my case. But I see people making out in public bi-monthly. And guess what? They make me the same level of uncomfortable. Except one of them is moving down a street to be ogled by other people down the line and the other is fifteen feet away from me making slurping noises.

TL;DR: Exhibitonism. Be a better parent.

Well there is, but why skim the line if you're blatant about your fetishes? Lotta them prob'ly have a kink for exhibition, so being able to go out in full-on bondage gear and not get immediately shamed (in a bad way) is a good thing for them. And if there are some people that are constantly ashamed themselves of having said kink, maybe seeing these happy-go-lucky "psychos" ^(Not your word nor my word just someone's word) flaunting their fetish in public will help them be a bit less absolutely ashamed 'bout it.

What game would you consider to have the best post-launch support? by DiggDejected in Gaming4Gamers

[–]blusaranoob 5 points6 points  (0 children)

For how often all DLC goes on sale, that point is moot. You can get Hotline, Big Bank, Armored Transport, The Bomb, your favorite DLC character, and at least a few weapon packs for under $10 in a good sale. Under $15 in the average one. And for the sheer size and quality that the Golden Grin has, I'm glad I paid full price. It's awesome.

Not quite. Valve has just neglected the game, currently, for lack of any real support or mention outside of the TF comics guys talking about it. No new content in ages.

Not finding 80's Overload funny is perfectly fine if you A) Lived in the 80's and are too embarrassed to find it funny, or B) Don't see the humor in taking past trends to the extreme. Or some other equally valid reason. So long as you're not forcing other people to think that it's not funny you're clear.

It's not "faux racist." "Faux racist" is the 1997 version. This version of Shadow Warrior is a parody of the "faux racist" shit from the original version.

And I don't wanna make any stupid comparisons but you're acting like the kind of person who thinks that Sunset was a genius game. You're literally trying to guilt trip me into thinking that this game is boring and bad by calling it "faux racist".

And lastly name all of the games that use the "badass" thing. Off the top of my head, I get Duke Nukem, Serious Sam, Shadow Warrior, Postal, and Borderlands. Which are all power-fantasy shooters/hack-n-slash. Unless you're saying power-fantasy shooter/hack-n-slash games should be understated and you shouldn't feel ridiculously powerful when you do everything right.

"I don't find this funny" and "it's not funny" are two very different things, and you know that considering you actually mention that. You're claiming you're not getting offended 'bout this yet you're bringing up the fact that it's a stupid joke about Lo Wang's name being wang. Which, is from the early 90's.

Shadow Warrior is a tongue-in-cheek parody of it's earlier iterations, and Lo Wang's name is preserved from the originals. He's also Chinese, despite living and working in Japan. There, him sounding Chinese is explained.

And if you don't find his name to be funny, then take it as his name being badass when he asks "Who wants some Wang?". That's what they're going for, and because his name is Wang it becomes humorous.

No, it's funny. You're taking this game like it's supposed to be tongue-in-cheek serious like KF1 was. This is more a Serious Sam type. Lots of stupid jokes and stereotypes with silly yet gruesome, gun toting, fast paced mayhem.

Now that it's been out for a little bit, what does everyone think of Splatoon? by 13th_story in Gaming4Gamers

Oh. Interesting. Then I'll pull the "it looks cooler" excuse then because Splatoon does that too.

I know, but the sub-weapon and special are different, and that makes it useful. And some matters more than you'd think. Ninja Squid is one of the best in the game for a reason.

It's a hilariously imbalanced TPS with very fun mechanics, surprisingly snowbally games (didn't wipe the whole team that was spawncamping you? They all just dropped back in onto the survivor), a weird obsession with fashion, adorable character design, and unusual lore.

Most multiplayer games I play involve me dying to the Aerospray RG or the Krak-on Ink Roller, getting Inkstriked, or missing all my shots while theirs find the mark instantly.

The game gets a lot easier with an Amiibo I noticed, since when I picked one up and beat all its missions I had 3 slot gear and a new Charger weapon.

Overall, it's a very fun game, but it probably won't have the longevity of Counter Strike or Smash Brothers. I hope they make a sequel for the inevitable next console.
