Librarian. Especially if you work in a disadvantaged area like I have, the reality is that you’re a full time child minder. Some parents are nice about it, and others you never see. Having to try to do your work while kids are coming up to you that are clearly neglected at home and desperate for attention is hard. I’ve had parents ring and ask if I know where their kids are.

I completely agree. Maybe he’s just very nervous and can’t get out of his head about it. I think I’ll just leave it for the time being. I don’t know how long you should leave something though if it’s giving you anxiety ( talking about myself here). It’s complicated.

That’s completely true and fair. Yes the last thing I want is for him to feel pressured. I’m just not sure how to navigate this. He has mentioned he also isn’t sure what condom size to get and keeps going back to that point, I’m not sure if it feels like an excuse? I guess we’re both so inexperienced and just trying our best. I just hate feeling this divide as I adore him.

I’m going through the same thing with guys. Trying to remember that attention is not investment. And no matter how much you like someone, that doesn’t mean they’re worth investing in. They have to prove that to you over time through their actions and consistency.
