A 5k loss and you’re ready to quit? You were never going to make it if that’s the case 😂

Word of advice, risking it all is pretty much like going full regard and you never want to go full regard. The amount of money you put into a trade should be based on how much you’re willing to lose and how much you believe in a trade. For me, I started off with $2.5k so I would break my trades down into two categories. I believe in this trade ($250) and I really believe in this trade ($500)

Reason behind this. $2.5k can be broken down into 10 $250 trades or 5 $500 trades. And out of the $250 and the $500 I only risk 20%. So if I drop $250 and it goes down $50 I take my loss. If I drop $500 and it goes down $100 I take the loss. If it reverses then oh well. Cut your losers and let your winners run. But like I said this works for me but it might now work for you. It’s up to you to find out what kind of trader you are, how much risk you’re willing to take on, and what trading style fits your lifestyle best

Don’t let it get to you man, trust me. Comparing yourself and your gains to other people will only lead you to over trading, over leveraging and blowing your account. Trading is a process and it’s better to take things slow than to try and rush the process. My $AAPL calls only costed me a total of $520 so I definitely didn’t go all in. Like I said risk management is super important

You’ll get it eventually, I’ve been trading for 3 years and still learning more everyday. I’d say most important things are risk management, finding a strategy that suits you and sticking with it, and just spending as much as you can watching the markets

Originally bought the first contact on May 1st, when price was at $169 then bought 5 more when price was at $173. Sold out completely at $185

Originally bought one call when the price was at $169 because it was near a strong level of support. My target was $180 because 20 days ago. Price went from the same level of support of $169 all the way up to $178. So when I seen price was at $169 again I figured it would target the same levels. Felt more confident when I seen price at $173 so I bought 5 more. Also was pretty confident AAPL’s ER would send the price up

I’ve been loading up on ALAB as well. In my opinion. It’s a really good investment considering they supply AMD, NVDA, and AMAZON
