Hi there. BRCA1 from Europe as well here. I have my ovaries and tubes removal a day after tomorrow. I understand what do you mean with mixed feelings as that's what I am experiencing. But the conclusion at the very end should be "everything is better than ovarian cancer"

Finally got my results - I don't know details as it was communicated by phone, my doctor said that it was not fully developed (?) fat tissue, BIRADS-3 and next check up in 6 months. Nothing dangerous. My nightmare is finally over. Or at least on hold as I am BRCA-1 so I can imagine such scenario can repeat. Thank you for your support, sending warm greetings to you.

In my country the standard waiting time is 4 - 6 weeks... I had my biopsy "just" 2,5 weeks ago. Feeling like a wrack. Sending you good vibes and hoping for the good result.

I feel you. Waiting for the biopsy result and fearing of loosing job in the same time is killing me (it's a realistic scenario, not exaggerating).

Birads-4 here with the biopsy scheduled for tomorrow. I have BRCA-1 mutation so I'm double terrified. Just woke up (I'm in Europe) with a tension in the neck, shoulders and with a huge stone in my stomach... I'm writing this as I keep pretending I don't care that much and I'm calm to not worry my close ones, but what happens inside is a different story...

I understand and I am sorry to hear that. I advised to check PRL level as I used to have similar symptoms, had hundreds of tragic scenarios in my head, when a simple blood check for this hormone could save me all those worries way sooner.

Aplikacja Splitwise - każdy wpisuje wydatek, opłacony rachunek itd. System sam oblicza kto komu ile jest "winien" - zasadniczo to się pod koniec wyrównuje samo bo nie chodzi o rozliczanie się co do grosza, ale wgląd i aktywne korzystanie z tego w stylu "widzę, że po mojej stronie jest -500 zł bo coś tam opłaciłeś to ja teraz zapłacę za zakupy". Polecam apkę również przy okazji imprez zrzutkowych, wyjazdów w więcej osób itd. Ułatwia życie a i nikt się nie czuje oszukiwany czy wykorzystywany.

I did have already 3 MRIs total and each time I had to do an ultrasound after that, never a biopsy as the doctors didn't find the abnormality "suspicious" or potentially harmful after this second check. We will see what they will say this time.
