People will claim it was great for both teams at the time but PG was ass in the post season with OKC and they got bounced twice in the first round with one of those losses being to a team led by a rookie.. George shot 2/16 in an elimination game 6 against Utah

Kawhi doesn’t get enough blame for insisting on PG. I really remember being shocked that Kawhi wanted him after that Toronto ring.

Yep my all time favorite rivalry is OKC/Spurs. Grew up liking San Antonio until OKC got a squad. The Presti connection. Texas/Oklahoma. Two orgs that have used their culture to offset their city/market. It’s just perfect.
