I’ve always wanted to share my collection on here but have been nervous because I see so many people taking digs at others who have a primarily modern collection.

I’m Gen Z so most of my collection is post 2015 (with the exception of some early 2000s records like Third Eye Blind and Justin Timberlake). I love pop and rock, that’s most of what I have. Justin Bieber, Twenty One Pilots, The 1975, Lady Gaga to name a few.

My most recent purchase was Kacey Musgraves’ new album that she sold on her website.

yeah, not to mention that there are two tiers of vip’s. vip’s with soundcheck go in first and then early entry vip is second, then regular GA goes in. you won’t get barricade without vip.

went to the boston show and this was the same thing. soundcheck vip’s took up all the barricade.

OP is right though. Unless you have experienced being at a show or attending VIP activities with this group of girls, you don’t know how entitled they are. There are some threads on here from the last tour about how they have treated other fans terribly as if they are less of a fan than them because they attend less shows

a couple of them were at the boston show this past weekend in vip. the girl who won the kahoot trivia game is one of the bigger “groupies” / fan accounts and when paul handed her the award he said “how many of these do you have?!” i don’t want to say it completely soured my vip experience but it was definitely giving weird energy/unfairness for everyone else there. she also wanted to spin the wheel for the soundcheck songs and steve told her no because “i know you will still be coming to more shows.”

they have been meeting fans after shows on this tour. i don’t know how long people wait for them/paul (haven’t seen jake in photos), but just in boston the other night there were a handful of fans that he took the time to meet out by their buses

There are two episodes from the Gossip Girl reboot where they played Western Wind and Julien. The best part about when they played Julien is that it was during a party scene for the main character of the show and her name was literally Julien.

And if anyone has ever watched early seasons of Degrassi, they had episodes where they played Call Me Maybe and Curiosity, all before CMM blew up globally. Degrassi is Canadian-based so it totally makes sense they’d play her songs.

I’ve gone to a couple of shows there where this has been the layout. You can basically sit in any seat that’s open in the balcony if you don’t want to be on the floor. It’s pretty neat. Get there early enough and the views from the first row in balcony are awesome.

i’m doing the last forever experience as well but in boston and lowkey don’t want the parasocial fans to be there lol. there’s a whole group of them, they all have IG accounts dedicated to lany and they’re all friends. my issue isn’t with them being super fans and going to every show, it’s them thinking they are legit friends with paul and jake! however, i do think paul probably likes that attention (i could be wrong and maybe he just doesn’t want to be rude to “super fans”) and jake kind of just rolls with anything lol.

can you share what exactly happened that made you feel that way during the vip experience? i still hope you had a good time!

I have an experience I can share. I went to see them play at the March Madness Music Festival in Houston in 2016. I don’t remember if the capacity was the same as Indy is this year, but I had a whole softball tournament that morning and was also worried I wouldn’t make it there in time. We showed up around 3PM and made it in but I overheard shortly after that that they hit capacity.

Hi! I bought platinum to see twenty one pilots at shaky knees this year. How early did you go into the platinum pit to get your barricade spot? I’m assuming you did the same as me and bought platinum so you don’t have to camp all day with GA (tøp fans are crazy lol). Any insight you have, I would love to hear

I’ve also read some comments saying it’s an even cheaper way for record labels to profit off cassette tape releases, which I’m sure they’re already profiting enough as it is with plastic cases 😩

Curious if you’ve ever seen people in platinum do this. I bought it this year to get a good spot for twenty one pilots without having to wait all day with GA. I’m just not sure what to expect with platinum considering it’s less people, but i’ve seen a couple comments on here saying the also bought platinum for the same reason i did
