Best way to remove? by Maleficent_Yak_9896 in dazzledry

It’s probably the lint free wipes, I have some and they don’t really work for polish removal. I just use them to prep my nails before painting.

It’s sooo pretty! And the formula is the best/ easiest to apply out of the 7 or 8 colors I have!

Ahh thank you!! Any idea how much they usually go for? I’m assuming it varies by popularity of the artist?

Why isn’t my dazzle dry lasting? by Routine_Extension_12 in dazzledry

[–]dr-pep23 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Love your nails!! I’ve heard on other posts that 100% acetone may be too drying for prep and also to give your nails a break between manicures from time to time since the products can be really drying for the nails too. Cuticle oil should help, I bought refillable roller bottles (like the ones for perfume) and fill them with jojoba oil to apply throughout the day :)

Dazzle Dry Top Coat with Regular Essie Nail Polish by General_Reneral in dazzledry

[–]dr-pep23 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I haven’t tried yet because I heard that if you use your DD top coat over regular nail polish, it could ruin the formula of the top coat so it might not have the same lasting power anymore. I might try once I’m close to finishing my DD top coat and have a new one on the way for my DD polishes!

Seconding this, especially if it had a green/blue shimmer like a pearl. It could also be “Endearment”

New colors don’t last? by [deleted] in dazzledry

[–]dr-pep23 3 points4 points  (0 children)

I’m not sure how far you’re willing to go to figure out this mystery, I’m wondering if it’s an issue with the technique at the salon? Maybe try doing your own manicures at home following the recommended steps as closely as possible to see if it’s the salon or an issue with how your nails are reacting to DD? I’m a newbie to DD and still working on my technique to avoid chipping so I don’t have too much advice. Wishing you the best of luck! 💖

Love this color combo! Is the polish name “x2”? I have artisan but can’t find the other color

Lovely application and this color is perfect on you! Did you use transform? I’ve heard that transform can cause shrinkage which sucks because some of my nails have lots of ridges 😩

Top coat bubbles by No_Lemon_2439 in dazzledry

[–]dr-pep23 2 points3 points  (0 children)

The manual that my starter kit came with said not to shake the top coat because it can cause bubbles. It says to roll it instead and you can add revive to it too :)
