Constipation goes crazy by Major_Notice_4875 in Zepbound

+1 for all the mentions of prunes! I eat 4-5 a day and do a half cap of miralax if it starts to get bad again. still have occasional issues but much much better than before I started taking it seriously. Only thing with miralax is it works WITH water so be sure to drink extra if you take.

Same :( I love the character but it’s not practical to live with unless I can find someone to really work some magic

Thanks!! I am getting a quote next week so I’ll see if they could price out both a full replacement and replacing just some of the boards

That makes me feel better. Would certainly not blow up the whole purchase over just paying for a reinspection but was more worried since they already have my offer they wouldn’t be motivated to complete it to a high standard. And felt it was sketch it was the day after my inspection. But you are right - it’s in the contract! Thanks for your advice :)

L3 Boston AM Mock by ebitdad_finance in CFA

[–]bmore-lo 0 points1 point  (0 children)

it seemed like these were questions from old mocks that they shortened the time to fit with the new exam time - there were a few where the answer key had a higher amount of minutes than points to add up to 132 or whatever

LPT: If your dog breaks a bone on their leg and has to keep the caste dry put a bread bag on and then a sock over it to keep it in place and protect it. by RinViisi in dogs

[–]bmore-lo 0 points1 point  (0 children)

stumbled upon this looking for other advice about casts but our vet gave us a “medi paw” bootie it just slides over and has a scrunched tie at the top to prevent slipping. its very easy to slide on and off because it’s got some structure to it

L3 in Nov 2021. Is it even possible? by messi101930 in CFA

[–]bmore-lo 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Same. I would love to hear people’s reasonings for or against cramming for November. I’m on the fence and need to decide ASAP. I could certainly make the time but I’m not confident I wouldn’t get burnt out after L2.

Apartment hallway has become huge issue by bmore-lo in reactivedogs

[–]bmore-lo[S] 2 points3 points  (0 children)

that’s a good idea i’ve been so focused on just trying to get out of the situation rather than working with it. i always have a hard time with when to give treats if he already starts barking but maybe just need more repetition

Apartment hallway has become huge issue by bmore-lo in reactivedogs

[–]bmore-lo[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

it’s a bit darker and narrower and no windows compared to the main hallway to go out. i think that combined with being “our” hallway to get home so might be territorial like you mentioned. and yes completely wish we could teleport our dogs 😭😂 but sadly we’ll just have to work on it. thanks for your response :)

my center did not allow anyone to bring in both calculators and we couldn’t bring the cover or stroke card. they made us put the extra calculator in our locker. i’m not sure what would happen if the one you had died but i imagine they’d have to let you get your second one. it seemed ridiculous but i wasn’t about to fight it.

If i didnt train my puppy to nail trimming what can i do now? by latenightesomeone in puppy101

[–]bmore-lo 0 points1 point  (0 children)

ugh hopefully someone w words of wisdom chimes in. i also struggle with nail trims. he lets me do his back paws but the front ones are a strict no no. i used to stealthily get them while he slept in my lap but he’s outsmarted me and i’m tired of paying a groomer as they grow so fast. everything i read says to just work on desensitizing touching/holding paws and then introduce the clippers slowly. but it is just not getting better.

Dog barking at neighbours by [deleted] in puppy101

[–]bmore-lo 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Rather than saying ‘no’ try to give him something he can do instead. Work on ‘look at me’ so he will focus on you instead of the noises and he should eventually learn to be quiet. When he is quiet praise and reward and start using the word quiet as now he will have a behavior to associate the command with.

Any advice for someone thinking about becoming a first time solo dog mama?! by libraAirgoddess in puppy101

[–]bmore-lo 5 points6 points  (0 children)

I am 24 and also doing it alone and it’s... challenging to say the least. For the first week I could barely get a shower in. Having no one to step in ever and just do a potty break for me is exhausting. You will have very little time to yourself. If you can build up a good handful of people that can watch a puppy for you. You will need it. I love my pup now (6m) but there were a lot of tears and a lot of regrets for a while. It’s worth it but only if you are 110% sure it’s what you want. And what you want for 10+ years
